I carry CO2 canisters and a Nulksen Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor. I am a firm believer in backup. I blew both tires on one ride.

Battery Issue After Moving Battery from Down-tube to Rear Rack

I cracked the case, and removed the hot glue from the positive lead on the charging port. The lead from the port had broken off. I took it to Batteries Plus and they soldered the wire to were the lead was. The battery was able to charge up to 55.7v. I will most likely need to replace the...

Ali Express 2nd Battery and connector

I know that you can by a battery that fits this base/mount/bracket from Rize. I use the Rize battery on an Raleigh e-bike with that type of base/mount/bracket. The connectors are different on both bikes.

Rode up on homeless person sleeping on bike trail.

I have been at a couple of camps being closed. Police stood around and talked, while I took three homeless individuals to the hospital. In Indianapolis the police not only harass the homeless, but make it difficult for individual people trying to help those in need.

    Juggernaut Extender Battery plug...

I know what you mean. I moved my 2nd/optional battery from the down tube to a rear rack. What I did was to cut the cable midway from the battery mount/base to plug. then I put XT60 plugs on the cut ends. Next I fixed the mount/base on the rear rack. Finally I used wire and another pair of XT60...

Changing the location of the secondary/optional battery

Thank you for your input. It is appreciated. I forgot about riding trails. I was looking at the plastic ammo boxes. They are light weight and easy to drill. I like your clips, because I may be able to to use them to attach the boxes to the frame. Ammo boxes are about 7" wide, so I am looking at...

Changing the location of the secondary/optional battery

FYI- I was in Harbor Freight yesterday and I saw ammo boxes. I am now wondering if I could use the boxes as panniers. I will be exploring how to attach them to my bike. I could use a front rack to carry the stuff I want to access easily.

Changing the location of the secondary/optional battery

Thanks for the input. It is greatly appreciated as well. I am going to be fasting the battery and its mount to the tote, so it won't be bouncing around on the inside of the tote. I am still concerned about the typical bumps and jars that are on the road or path. I also have a concern about heat...

Changing the location of the secondary/optional battery

Thank you for your reply. My big issue with the battery is, its location on the down tube. The battery make it difficult to mount the bike. Attached is a picture of how I extended the rear rack. With the bolts I am able to secure a lockable shipping/storage tote. When I go on long, 30-50 miles...
