Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

Very cool report. Looks like things are sorted out. And, I’m with you on the battery life. It is removable anyway, so I am sure a new battery would be in the works if you decide to keep it.

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

Nub, The only right way to test is to hit a 20% grade for 5 miles. :)

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

Yep, I agree. But this doesn’t matter if the SL 1.1 motor outputs the motor power as a parameter and these apps are just reading it from the motor. The measurement would be post thermal and parasitic losses. Something fishy is going on if MC reads 300W peak and BLevo reads 450W peak.

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

I posted this issue on BLevo forum. The dev said the motor power is read directly from the motor. Which does not make sense if MC amd this app show different values. And the CSV file has a bug in the battery voltage column.

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

Thx Nub, I guess I'll wait on firmware until BLevo dev updates. Or just go back to MC.

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

This would be interesting to see if the climb support improves. The increased current consumption may lead to increased torque. If that is the case your climbs should be easier. Can you please do a climb and give your opinion? For some weird reason, it is quite satisfying asking you to...

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

Yeah, the CSV file 'Battery Voltage' confuses me. I think you're right. The value provided is relative to the battery's nominal voltage of 48V. I took the same route today and there is a section that is 15% grade where I use 100% motor consuming close to 300W. the Battery Voltage = -0.6...

Vado SL firmware update - power boosted?

Nub, I really want to update my firmware now. I could really use the extra 150W. What does your CSV file show? Is voltage or current increased?

Creo - Is there a way to record and see percent of ride spent in each mode - eco, sport, turbo?

Here is a snapshot of BLevo distilling the info by mode.

I think people find a way to race anything. I would love to see an e-bike race.

    Creo - long climb range?

This app looks so full featured. I wish Mission Control gave similar info. The only way to get similar info is from that third party app BLevo. Maybe specialized will add features in the future. Thx for sharing, Alaskan.

Turbo Creo owners: is the Creo your only road bike, or do you feel you still love your analog bike(s)?

I think this sums it up for me. The one difference for me is that I have to navigate a hill back to my house and rather than stop and push as in my old bike, I just use the motor to assist me home. I am hoping as I collect more staminas I can modulate the power assist back. In short...

Turbo Creo gearing. Do you need/want a higher gear?

As a not-so-strong rider, I am good with the gearing. I do find I spin out on the 11 when on a decline or a flat with wind, but then I just slow down and am good with the gear. I have gone to the 42 on an uphill, but since I am not strong, I tend to spin and use more motor than legs. I like...

Turbo Creo owners: is the Creo your only road bike, or do you feel you still love your analog bike(s)?

I’ve only had my Creo for a little over a week. I did not have a road bike. I rode a 2001 M4 Stumpjumper with commuter tires (1 1/8”). I’ve only ridden the Creo about 90Km over the week, but I would turn to this bike over the Stumpy on each ride. I even rode with my family where they drove...

Mission Control - Creo rider power vs motor power

Nub, If it had voice control so I can yell at my phone "Help!!" and it gives me turbo, that would be fun.

Mission Control - Creo rider power vs motor power

Hi Nubnub (awesome username), I don't yet know the drawbacks of using BLevo over Mission Control, so I am not really ready to recommend it. But I like it a lot, so far. All the screenshots were from my phone after the ride. I leave my phone in my camelback with screen off and locked. I am...

Mission Control - Creo rider power vs motor power

I just went on a ride today using BLevo as the logging app. Mission Control is not connected at all to my bike, right now. I can't speak to the accuracy of BLevo, either. It is a cool tool, but I wish the UI looked a little cleaner. BLevo: Here is a map of the ride. The cool thing is you...
