    Trek Domane +HP 2021

Wow amazed that they are not offering the HP+, i’m going to guess that they are going to change the frame and to allow a double chain ring. They may even offer a smaller battery to improve the weight, perhaps similar to the Creo or perhaps there is a new Bosch pedal assist unit on the way that...

No issues and Trek are the people who installed it, and it has the mounts into the frame from the get go

Trek Domane HP+ end of Dec 2021 update

Hi nope there is no grinding and shifting is fine, perhaps a little less refined but that’s really subjective. I haven’t had any issues honestly. Now I want to find a way to get a bigger gear on my 2009 Roubaix 😂.

Trek Domane HP+ end of Dec 2021 update

Thanks for the update, much appreciated. Are you up and down hills a lot too? 92 percent is really good. I just checked my bike; it’s been plugged in and unused for a few days, as I used my analog bike last week, the Domane is sitting at 96 percent. I included here some photos of the new...

Trek Domane HP+ end of Dec 2021 update

Wow 🤩 that’s an awesome amount of riding! Congrats brother! If I do a reset it will register 100 percent, but it drops immediately, and before ya know it it’s at 92 percent …. In under 10 min when in eco mode. My other battery does not have this issue just yet. How far do commute each day with...

Trek Domane HP+ end of Dec 2021 update

So as an update to my Domane HP+ experience, the bike now has 8432 miles on it, this year I have climbed almost 500K feet. The bike has been essentially flawless in operation. I indeed did have shifting cable failure and some early on battery sitting issues. I did purchase a second battery full...

My updated Trek Domane +HP review - now with 4565 miles on it

Thanks for the update, thats awesome. Yeah 100 percent about declines and keeping up with race bikes. The heart rate data is great, because it demonstrates that your working it. The ebike is great for not blowing yourself out, or once you do you can get your self home with a recovery ride

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

With regards to the 46 vs 50T I totally agree. For the extra battery, I have on order a second one which I will carry on a rear rack when needed. I almost purchased the battery extension system, but so freakin ugly and will mess up the beautiful lines of this bike, I just could not do it. Its...

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

I’m so sorry for the delayed response. The 46T is something that I went back to Trek and asked about because after my first 1500 or so mile I was thinking should I bump that up a little. Well life is about trade offs, so you will loose some of your climbing ability on steeper hills. The bike has...

    Verve2 Mileage Odometer Not Accurate

I have found about a mile for every 20 (1 mile per 20) that the bike odometer does not match the GPS data. I am sure GPS data is much less accurate and over the course of miles it becomes more significant as a rider as the distance increases. The variance above between bikes is certainly...

Trek Domane +HP Power Usage By the Numbers: Longer Distance Ride

Take a look at your speed, terrain and overall weight. Going faster does have a big cost in battery life. There is a significant jump from eco to tour mode, less so with tour to sport. In sport mode (mountainous regions, whatever that means actually in terms of hill grade Bosch doesn’t state)...
