Yeah, the "normal" response kind of gave me pause.

They are actually pretty easy to bend back into place. You can use a tool to do so or use "finger power" to bend them back to normal. It is actually surprising that something that can stop that kind of weight can be "bent" so easily. Glad you got her back in business!

I am considering a slightly wider tire size for winter use. I was wondering if anyone was running a wider tire and, if so, how much wider? I know the front has a bit more clearance on both sides to accomodate but the rear is the tricky part. It looks like there is not as much room in the rear...

Agreed and I don't know where the shop had them set today. I rode my Aventure at 15-20 psi on my first ride and it rolled nicely on hard surfaces but when off-road I prefer 5-6 psi. Honestly, the tires on the Aventure are stiff enough on mine that I just leave them at 6 psi now but I may start...

I recently took a stab at a Gravity Bullseye Monster XE and was fairly disappointed in the quality. I am now leaning heavily again towards the HD750. When you rode the HD 750 did you find the cadence sensor annoying (I realize a torque sensor is worlds better) or did it function fairly well?
