I love this idea. Once my XP is out of warranty I want to try something like this but I am afraid to until I see an example of it being done so I know if it is worth it.

I received my Lectric XP today and after unpacking the bike I realized I couldn't unfold it because the pins on the terminal don't line up with slots in the battery. Has anybody else seen this?

That is a cool idea! What model did you use? Was it hard to do? Are there any videos I can reference, all I can find are videos of it being installed on a standard bike so i am unsure how they work in tandem. Love to hear how you did it. I ordered an XP and I love hearing about how other people...

Thanks for reaching out! The Step-Thru does have a special, longer battery as the frame shape is a bit different. The XP's batteries are not proprietary, but the Step-Thru's batteries are custom to the bike and must be ordered through us at this time. Let us know if you have any other questions...

Have you heard about the new Lectric ebike yet? Besides the step through frame what changes would you think could/should be made to make this a better value then the XP? I hope they reach out to you again and have you review their newest addition.

I hope it's at the same or close to the same price point as the Lectric XP. I would be willing to pay a little more for certain improvements but would rather they keep the cost low and add stuff later myself so I get what I want without paying for things I will remove/replace. Like the idea of a...
