Yes, chain angle is a concern. Impact on the lower gears if any. I corrected my diameters on the 50t (209mm) and 52t (217mm) ring. Also it seems the thickness using my calipers is around 2mm. I haven't taken anything apart, but seems regular rings are around 4mm thickness.

Yes. It measures 104mm. I'm thinking the diameter of the 46t is 193mm. A 50t would seem to be 209mm. The rear wheel frame on the sprocket side is a very close fit. Forget a 52t at 217. Alternative would be stack the larger ring on the outboard of the crank bracket. Currently it is inboard.

Anyone find a larger front sprocket for their Himiway? Seems top speed could use better gearing. Looking for something around 50 tooth or slightly larger. Thanks for your inputs. Jeff

I do believe the Himiway is the narrower 750w motor. Smaller controller and battery. so what? Rather than get carried away, enjoy the heck out of it! Kyle ALSO spent an additional $1k+ on his parts (not counting labor).
