    Motor power consumption..

Wow! that is one thorough response. I double checked the number on the motor and it is indeed the G060.750D 07. And for accuracy, the amp rating on the controller itself states 21Amps, not the 22 stated on the bike specs. It sounds to me that you're saying that the motor itself is mostly...

    Motor power consumption..

Since I see so many informed, educated answers about this, I'm hoping I might get an answer to something I'm wondering about. (If I'm unduly hijacking the thread, I'll start another topic.) My bike is a 750W, 48V Bafang rear hub drive, 13 AH battery. (Shown in my profile pic.) A neighbor is...

    handlebar chart - help finding

Greetings all - I was following a thread a few weeks ago, and someone posted a link to a multi-page listing of various handlebar styles, with images and measurements and related info. Thought I bookmarked it, but, alas, my brain is old and I can't locate the thread or the chart. Anyone know...

Street or less rolling resistance Replacment tires ? for the fat rims...I'm in Canada

Dono Be - thanks again, that's also helpful. My display manual says to set it for 28" (on a 26" rim) if its a fat tire. But the display shows 70. which I now interpret to be 700 mm, which translates to 28+ inches. Voila! So, my speed and mileage in MPH is accurate after all.

Street or less rolling resistance Replacment tires ? for the fat rims...I'm in Canada

FlatSix - thanks, thats very helpful. Looks like the 3" tire might work but not be ideal.

Street or less rolling resistance Replacment tires ? for the fat rims...I'm in Canada

Dono Be - thanks! That's just what I wanted to know. I was concerned about the bead seating properly; didn't really think about how it would spread out the tread against the road. Or the sidewall. I was also concerned about the reduced height of the whole wheel compared to the 4" knobby...

Street or less rolling resistance Replacment tires ? for the fat rims...I'm in Canada

As I mentioned in the post, I measured 3.25 inches to outside of rim, which translates to 82+mm. The 3" tire I am considering to replace the 4" Kenda seems like it might be too narrow for that rim. Hence, my question.

Street or less rolling resistance Replacment tires ? for the fat rims...I'm in Canada

Okay, a little more info would be helpful for me. I've got Kenda Juggernaut 4" tires (98-559) front and rear on a Shaka cruiser that I've had a few weeks. I had bought a Duro Beach Bum 3" tube and tire (70-559), more a street tread to install. But it looks so much narrower than the...
