Exactly my situation. Thanks so much for your input.

    Tinker Vario vs Vektron s10

Thanks @Over50 , this is helpful! Why would you opt for the full size? I find the GSD remarkably comfortable but will be in the same work/carpool situation so would like a compact or folder to fit in a trunk. I only have experience with 20" tires so am curious as to what a full sized bike would...

    Tinker Vario vs Vektron s10

Great. Very informative! Did you get rid of your Charger due to the hub? if there were an issue with the enviolo in a few years, is the hub replaceable by a different type of hub? I can’t imagine that they will continue to manufacture the enviolo for years to come. I love the belt drive...

    Tinker Vario vs Vektron s10

Super helpful! What I meant actually was that I was surprised that the Tinker was not as zippy was I’d expected it to be. I won’t be able to try the s10 as nobody carries it here.

    Tinker Vario vs Vektron s10

The Tinker would be the same price as the Vektron (its a demo). I have slight concerns with the N380 hub reliability but perhaps this is not a real issue.

    Tinker Vario vs Vektron s10

@Over50 , @dblhelix any thoughts? :) how often do you use the folding function, and how is the speed?

New to e-bikes, looking for cargo/commuter bike

I think you'll be very happy with your RadWagon :) I have friends who have them and love them! I opted for a Tern GSD due to the smaller wheels (the Rad 4 wasn't out at the time) and have been very happy with it, but if I were making my decision today, I would likely opt for the cost savings...

    Tinker Vario vs Vektron s10

Hi all, I’m the happy owner of a Tern GSD for kid hauling. I’m looking into purchasing a second E-Bike, either folding or compact (must fit into a car trunk). folding would be nice but I’m not sure it’s an absolute necessity - that said, I’d be interested to hear from Vektron owners as to how...

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

Hi! My GSD took a few months to come in. I love it! I haven’t yet tackled major hills but the small ones and long/slight hills have been absolutely no problem. I love the bike.

2020 Benno Updates with Benno Baenziger at Eurobike 2019

@Chris Nolte This bike looks amazing - thoughts on the 2020 boost vs GSD?

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

I ended up placing an order with my LBS for a GSD s10. Would love the Vektron but found it hard to justify with 2 small kids :) thanks for your advice and great videos!

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

@Chris Nolte one more question if you aren’t sick of me yet - is the Active Line Plus worth it over the Q9’s active line? We do have quite a few hills here but the price jumps fairly significantly from the q9 to the s10.

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

Yes! This is the exact info I needed. I think that for my purposes the Vektron will be best, and the GSD later on. Will need at least one in a Yepp for a while. Thank you so much Chris! Amazing info and love your videos.

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

Also, I wouldn’t need the passenger kit until spring anyway, but will it indeed hold 2 kids? At least one will still be in need of a Yepp seat as they will be 4 and 2 next summer.

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

@Chris Nolte this is super helpful! Is the length of the Vektron the same as the HSD? Can’t the Vektron also carry a kid? Finally, isn’t the motor the same (active line plus) as the HSD s8i? thank you so much!!!

Giant explore e+2 vs Tern vektron d8

Indeed! Unfortunately already snowy where I live so test rides aren’t possible.

    Vektron s10 vs HSD?

Long story short, I would like eventually to get a GSD as I have two small kids. I’d also like to ebike more in general - I do cycle often but sometimes get lazy and drive. I think that, for me, the fun and ease of an ebike would reduce that significantly. I initially thought I’d just get a...

Giant explore e+2 vs Tern vektron d8

Similarly priced, but the tern comes with a rack and fenders. Helpful to fit in a small space but not absolutely necessary. The vektron is the Bafang version. To be used on a hilly 20 mile RT commute, baby seat capability would be great too.

Thanks! Did you look at the 2019 version? This is the one that’s on sale (the silver one). There are holes for fenders and rack.
