    Help with bottom bracket removal

Just an update. Everything's done and installed except my external controller I'm waiting to arrive. Took it for its first ride yesterday. Drives amazing and could not be happier with the result. Cant wait for the controller to arrive to be finally complete!

    Help with bottom bracket removal

I do have a vice but I have a feeling the fixed cup flats are too narrow for the vice to actually get a good grip on it. I'll give it a try though and if not I'll make a trip over to the hardware store and try the bolt and washer trick

    Help with bottom bracket removal

After a bunch of research online I found out it's a fixed cup. I've tried for the past 6 hours to remove it without that tool and I've never been so angry in my life. Finally called the quits and now I'll have to buy a third f$#@ing tool that I'll only use once to remove a cap

    Help with bottom bracket removal

I'm trying to remove my bottom bracket. I order the crank puller from amazon and that worked to get the crank arms off. Now I'm trying to remove the bottom bracket yet there seems to be what I think is a spacer sealed on the drive side blocking me from using my bracket removal tool. Here's some...

This is an old post actually, it just seems to have grabbed the attention of a forum member who is anti luna cycle lol. I've already started my DIY build (shown in my profile photo) but still waiting for a few packages to arrive in the mail. I do however find this guys trivial uproar both idle...

    Thoughts on these batteries

Well I appreciate all the information. This is my first build so I am certainly a rookie. I did order the battery and as I already stated it seems to have great reviews both on the dhgate site and on reddit forums. If it's not up to snuff at least it wasnt expensive and then I'll just get the...

    Thoughts on these batteries

Thanks Timpo. It's a good thing you pointed that out as I didnt even realise it was only 25A BMS. I ended up going with this with a choice of 30a or 40a continuous (I went with 40 obviously) These guys seem to have excellent reviews so I couldn't be happier with the price. Plus it comes with...

    Thoughts on these batteries

Hey so I'm doing my first diy build. So far I got a schwinn biggity dlx fat bike. I'm ordering a bbshd kit and also getting the asi bac800 external controller. As far as the battery goes, I'm on the fence between this https://www.goldenmotor.bike/product/52v17-5ah-panasonic-shark-pack/ And then...

This fella is doing 40mph with a cyclone 3000 motor and 72v 24ah battery and he did 15 miles with 60% battery life remaining. The average commute to work certainly wouldnt be any more than 15 miles tops and I could always charge it at work

I didn't feel the need to mention that I would not be driving it at 60kmh during winter months, felt that was self explanatory. I would drive it at low speeds on crappy roads as does everyone driving a car..

Thank you for the info. I was thinking about getting a geared (maybe 7 speed) fat bike and then getting a mid drive motor for steep uphills in the city. I was thinking the cyclone https://lunacycle.com/cyclone-mid-drive-3000w-planetary-kit/ paired with a good 72v lithium battery...

Hey so I'm Nick and I'm new here. I'm deciding on getting an ebike as I dont have a drivers license and looking to commute to work (I'm an electrician) I live in NB Canada and we have some pretty nasty roads in the Winter so I was deciding on a fatbike. I want something that will go faster than...
