Making Portable Solar Charger for E-Bike

Portable - small size of solar panel. In your variant the solar panel "Renoy 100W 12V" has sizes 47.3 X 21.3 X 1.4 inches it's huge! Such panels have a roof space for stationary use. Well, or like a roof on a liegerad . But this is not my case. My portable solar panel in transport mode has a...

Making Portable Solar Charger for E-Bike

52 days later... Got a parcel with cells from SunPower, tried to laminate. I refused the lamination due to the instability of receiving protected cells. I switched to acrylic with a thickness of 2 mm as the front surface. The back side of the solar battery (SB) was glued with ordinary adhesive...

Making Portable Solar Charger for E-Bike

Hello, I started looking for the possibility of charging the battery from the solar battery on 09/30/2019. At the moment, I have intermediate test results for various solar cells. On the test there were the classic cells (very very fragile, contact tracks on the front side) monocrystall and...

Please, help me choose a scheme for sorting cells by internal resistance (mOhm). I do not have data on the capacity of each cell (even if there was equipment, then it will take weeks) http://repackr.com/ offers this option (according to the logic of sorting the capacity, I substituted the...

    Making e-bike per-cell charger...

The last two days I was engaged in the discharge of parallels to 3.000V Then I charged it with regular charging at 4A (3.8A in reality) and noticed that after charging the BMS started to heat up. Specifically heated resistors to 46-47 degrees Celsius. Within 4 hours, I measured the voltage of...

    Making e-bike per-cell charger...

I agree that the more difficult the more unreliable, but I want to go all the way from the beginning to the madness :D+ But yes, I can use not individual charges, but break the battery if not into parallels but into units, 2-3-4 cells per unit and charge them separately Unfortunately, I do not...

    Making e-bike per-cell charger...

BMS is not responsible for 100% charging of individual cells, only protection against low or high voltage. So installing one bms on each line doesn't make sense.

Hello I have a diy battery ICR18650-26F 13S7P 48V 18Ah (see how it builded, tests https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/electric_bike_apache_log/ ) I charged it with a standard 54V4A charger, but the shutdown happened ahead of time, as it turned out one parallel had charged up to 4.2V earlier...
