Agreed. Lockitt is the best solution to this I’ve found. Thanks for replying and informing. Propel was very limited and didn’t support what I needed. I also recommend lockitt for getting various ABUS locks with specific key codes.

Upon first examination, This seems like the most web convenient way to go. They seem to know about the lock variances (varieties?) and whether it needs a special order. Price is much more deterministic. Thanks again.

Thanks for the pointer. Although I couldn’t do what I want to do using the above web tool, I called and they may be able to set me up with what I need. They do a lot more business with ABUS then my local shops do and so have more ABUS connections.

Yup. I have the Vado 5 IGH and did the same. Also got a nice trunk bag which is normally mounted on the rear. When I need the basket I put it on the rear and put the trunk bag on the front. Looks weird that way but you can bring everything

The Vado rack won’t work with my ortlieb QL3 bracket system and I may replace the stock rack. I’m concerned whether the rack is one of the rack supports and so removing it is problematic. Any ideas? Any rack recommendations given that the rear hub is 148 mm wide I think? Thanks.

First day with no rain and I rode a Vado 4 and a Vado 5. The 4 I rode for around 7 miles on gravel path and pavement path and it was about the same as the 3. The 5 I rode for about 6 miles and it actually felt more powerful but it’s hard to say if I was just imagining it. I have no real metrics...
