Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I'm no bike shop so I had to get these tools :-). My chain driven bikes with FSA cranks required none of these tools in the past. But I certainly have everything else including torque wrenches and bike stand.

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Dealer contacted RM and will update me on estimated replacement/fix for the rack. I'm waiting for a specialty tool so I can tighten up the mounting bolts of the motor as I'm getting a bit of creaking under higher power lever changes such as doing close to 28 mph and shifting from 12 to 13...

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Actually my rack just cracked visibly by the chainstay mount on the belt side of my 2019 Supercharger GX. It's disappointing to say the least with 1,500 miles on the bike. I contacted my dealer, waiting for a response and resolution. I'm guessing a replacement rack will be in order.

    Rohloff E-14, Gear Freewheeling

The only two issues I have experienced in my first 1,000 miles so far was: 1) non-shift due to pedal pressure. Even though the motor assist is cut back automatically I can put enough manual power on the powertrain to not allow the shift to occur. This is a learning curve thing coming from...

Does anyone here own a 2018 R&M Supercharger GX Rohloff HS?

The photo is an old one :-). I'm north of 220 lbs at the moment and in my early 40s. With the help of my commute I expect to get down to my photo weight by November. You can check out my commute's elevation and stop/go profile on Strava: https://www.strava.com/activities/2259248730...

Does anyone here own a 2018 R&M Supercharger GX Rohloff HS?

I do have the Supercharger therefore dual batteries, yes. On my 33 mile (55 km) morning commute in 37F (3C) weather I arrived to work with only 23% battery left in Turbo mode with an average speed of 22.3 mph (36 km/h) and average human power output of 126W. On my commute home with 67F (19.5C)...

Riese & Muller USA office and product liability question?

"the registered agent for an LLC has one primary function: to be an agent for service of process, as well as receiving other important correspondence on behalf of the LLC. Additionally, a registered agent must also forward such materials to the LLC in a timely manner." This is for LLCs but the...

Riese & Muller USA office and product liability question?

Every company doing business in the US will have to maintain a physical presence or have something called a "Registerd Agent" in the jurisdiction that they are doing business in. There are companies/law firms specifically set up to provide registered agent services in various states. Since RM is...

Does anyone here own a 2018 R&M Supercharger GX Rohloff HS?

The only way you'd cover 56 miles on a single charge is in "Tour" or "ECO" modes. In "Sport" or "Turbo" you would be out of juice. It's also not good for the battery to be repeatedly drained down to 0%, I prefer to have 20% left in it before I'd charge but given my use case I don't have the...

Does anyone here own a 2018 R&M Supercharger GX Rohloff HS?

I forgot the belt drive! I love that too! I also don't understand how people consider the Bosch system "noisy". When I'm cruising at 25+ mph the only thing I can hear is music from my helmet speakers and the wind. The Gates belt drive with Rohloff and e-shifting is truly the best setup out there...

Does anyone here own a 2018 R&M Supercharger GX Rohloff HS?

Well I've had it for a bit over 2 weeks now and I have 600 miles on it. If I had to use one word to describe it: Fantastic! I like everything about it, the Rohloff E14 is great, it has a few mis-shifts and even though the assist power is retarded when you shift you still need to make a...
