The key only rotates about 60 degrees. Can you press in and hold the upper portion of the door such that you can easily rotate the key back and forth and hear the lock click ? Maybe pressing in the door will allow the mechanism to unlock easier. Perhaps a wire has moved and is blocking the lock...

That is strange ! I believe both actually meet the Federal definition of 'Bicycle' as the ST1's cannot be 'powered' above 12 mph ( Boost ) or so 'solely' by motor... and the Fla Law duplicates this definition.. it was just the fact that the 'Sticker' said otherwise which concerned me...
