    2018 Juiced CCS for sale

I bought a new CCX after seeing my brothers, lots of little improvements.. plus that giant 52v 19.2ah battery. We went on a couple longer trips in the past couple of weeks, I was starting to lag behind while he still had about 75% of his charge and I was getting close to 50v.

    CCS is tougher than me

My CCS is how I get everywhere but I've chosen not to ride if it's below freezing and isn't completely dry out, which thankfully has only been a couple of days so far this year. Wet leaves this Fall were bad enough.

    Service and delivery problems: Solved?

Maybe they're producing more these days, but they're also selling more. Until the website consistently shows all bikes in stock and shipping within days of placing an order,II don't think anyone should be trying to say things are fixed.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus a lot worse than stock Kenda tires!

I actually ordered my CrossCurrent S with the Schwalbe tires but it was shipped with Kendas because they were out of stock, ended up just asking to be refunded the difference. Im glad I never ended up buying a pair, I really don't want to sacrifice any performance especially in the rain. I guess...

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

I take the lane and keep up with traffic in town on my CCS, I only ride the shoulder on some 45mph stretches. Still eyeing up a 52 battery for spring though.

    CrosscurrentX availability?

They gotta do a last quality check and I'm assuming count inventory of the whole shipment before starting to ship bikes out. I was waiting on a replacement part to be shipped out to me for about two weeks after the shipment arrived in the warehouse simply because they had to process it all...

Grinding noise and motor engagement issue

Not really, they have their own specific issues and theyre hard on the bicycle components. They used to sell the CCA advertised as 350w but the one you bought was 650w. I would have assumed they're the same motor just programmed differently, but maybe not. Id talk to support again if it feels...

Grinding noise and motor engagement issue

Weird. Did you buy the CCA 1.1 or the original CCA?

New 2019 RipCurrent 52V ebike is out. Anyone has a review on it?

I've seen a few on the Juiced Bikes Facebook group, both the RipCurrent and the RCS.

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

My hub only made noise while pedaling, not using the throttle or spinning it with my hand. Support told me it was faulty bearings, and I'm assuming since their LBS told them they can't open the hub that they suspect it's coming from there as well.

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

Sounds like you could have some faulty bearings in your hub like I did. Contact support and they'll send you a new wheel assembly but they might ask you for a video of it making the noise to verify that's the issue.

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

Has it gotten wet? I had to lube my pedals after I rode in the rain the first time.

CCS/CCX - speed over torque? but by how much - hill climbing

Agreed, Im rarely in a lazy mood when I'm on my CCS anyway. Ive found I like speed way more than I dislike burning thighs, sweat, and heavy breathing. Exercising is lots of fun now.

CCS/CCX - speed over torque? but by how much - hill climbing

Lots of hills in my area, even if I'm being lazy my stock 48v CCS carries me up them at close to 20mph because lower than that you can get over 900w of peak power by using the throttle + pedal assist ("throttle assist boost"). You don't actually have to produce much torque through the pedals to...

    DIY 52V battery pack?

Juiced designed and manufactures their 52v battery housing themselves in-house, so it's either because nobody else is making one... or nobody else is making one because Juiced manufactures them in-house, thus not giving others access to producing it for themselves. Maybe a mixture of both.

    CCX: zero mode and more

Hopefully they'll use the slow winter season to bang out some inventory then, I'll have to keep my eye out thanks.

    CCX: zero mode and more

BMS is Battery Management System *From juicedbikes.ca A 52v battery + shipping from *them would cost me close to $1800 USD, which is what I paid for my CCS.

    CCX: zero mode and more

Sorry I only meant to say buying that battery from you would cost me almost as much as my CrossCurrent S did.

    CCX: zero mode and more

With shipping the battery would cost as much as the bike did, but it's an option at least.
