I am confused by your post…My enduro is a mid drive Bafang are you really sure it is the hub freewheel?? Sounds like a cheap fix with nothing to do with the motor.

Dealer has ordered plates but no problem moving to 500wh battery...

Windward...you are correct...the 500 battery fits perfectly but mine came without the plates. Not a problem except for the charger port is now exposed...I will take a picture of it later.

Pdoz ...do you know what size dropper post you have... And can you move the collar of your post within an inch or 2 of the seat post clamp without bottoming out the post?

Now I am more hopeful as they look very similar... my friend is bringing the battery up tomorrow and I will know for sure and let you know

Windward...looks like I may have been given the wrong information that the batteries were interchangeable...It has come in and I will have it on Monday and see if it will work...judging by the pictures I see here it will be a problem.

LI I paid $400 for the extra 500 wh battery. Range was more important to me than the better fork and shock. I had a new XT drive train which I bought for the Voltbike and had the dealer install on the Giant. I will put the Deore components he took off the Giant on the Voltbike to replace...
