Same thing happened to me. My LBS replaced it at no charge.

The people at my LBS said it charges some, but not all phones. They said something along the lines that my iPhone won’t accept it for power because the display only supplies a small amount of power.

Mine reset every time the bike powered up until I updated the firmware. Now it resets press + and -.

I had to have my cassette replaced. The guy at the LBS said all the Vados they ordered around the same time had the issue and replaced all of their cassettes.

I took a short cut though a gravel path in the dark and hit something pretty hard to get the pinch flat. If it’s difficult I’ll stick to tubed tires and stay on the bike path.

Anyone know what it would take to make the wheels on a Vado 3.0 tubeless? I had my first flat from a pitch yesterday. Easy enough to swap the tube out but I’d like to prevent it from happening again.

I have a Vado 3. Sometimes mine would start to feel like I had intermittent power. Pushing the battery down the tube a bit seemed to help the issue a little. Had the firmware updated a week ago and the issue went away though.

The app (or maybe update) for the Vado series bikes is not out yet. It’s very frustrating.

I love my Vado 3 but I too have had a handful of issues and I’m not sure if I’d buy it again or go with a giant/trek. I originally picked it because I wanted to see my power (3 can probably show it I once the app is released but the 6 can show it on the display). Front fender fell off...

I’ve had my fingers crossed for tomorrow... since I bought the bike a few weeks ago.

My goal is to ride 400miles a month. That’s commuting an average of 4 days a week. If I ride for my commute as much as I think I will I’m hoping to get at least 2 years out of the battery and 4 years out of the bike, but I expect about half of that.

Specialized claims that it’s as, if not more, accurate as other meters on the market. It also mentions that the app displays electrical watts generated, which has a bit of loss. I am assuming this is for the human power display but it’s not very clear to me. It could be just for the motor power.
