@Ann I live in Kansas - there are no hills:(. The rides have been split between paved roads, paved and gravel paths. My commute has about an even split of all three.

Short update: 1231 miles on the Bulls Outlaw. (all miles can be confirmed with Strava) Flats = 2 back tire 1 front tire - quick change through axles and easy plug and play motor made these repairs painless. You need to carry a knife to cut zip ties and some spare zip ties to tie the wiring...

I service the bike myself. If I need parts I get them mailed. The manufacture reps have helped with any diagnostic issues I have had. I guess if you can't perform basic bicycle maintenance this approach may not work for you???

+1 on hub drives...flats and moderate hills. I don't have any steep hills here to test but my guess is they would hold their own on steep hills as well. I am sure the mid drive boys will weigh in about heat build up...maybe so - but you can't prove it by 350lbs experience. Cheers!

Did you confirm speed with a bike computer or ap? Both of my bikes Stromer ST1 and Bulls Outlaw read over true speed...the ST1 reads about 1mph higher and the Oulaw about 2 mph higher than Strava/mapmyride/bike computer (on average - they all differ slightly)

Component wise they are top shelf...compared to others. Examples include the size of rotors on the Outlaw and the front forks on several models.

I bought another Bulls as well...the deals were toooooo good! I love my Bulls Outlaw so I hope I will love the Bulls Fat. I have not been a fan of the Bosch mid drive but this one has the CX version. Hopefully is it not as underpowered as the performance line.

The CC is a solid choice in that price range. The riding position is forward and semi aggressive. The bike is sporty and handles well. The tires make it a good pavement or hard pack bike. The display is basic no speed or trip distance info. Power delivery is smooth and very noticeable...

Don't think you need an eBIKE but a nice small folder like a brompton might work well??
