Fender and Rack kit for Turbo

I don't, sorry. I would think they came in the kit or the shop had them readily available as they got the bike back to me the next day after dropping off

Happy with my 2015/16 base Turbo...

What was the original gearing on your bike? I can definitely outpedal the gearing on my Turbo X and was looking at options.

Fender and Rack kit for Turbo

It was pouring rain this morning so pics are a bit dark as I had to do them in the garage. I turned the flash on for a couple of the detail pics so hopefully its obvious how stuff went together. I just picked it up from the LBS on Thurs and was out of town so haven't ridden since getting the...

2016 Turbo X: First week (and beyond) commuting impressions

I picked up my closeout '15 Turbo X from Spokes at Leesburg Town Center this evening. I opted for the City Kit so we'll see how they do with a Performance Bike house brand suiter/pannier on the back. I'm in NE Leesburg and work right at Van Buren & Worldgate so easy 17mi ea way. Pretty...

Fender and Rack kit for Turbo

Interesting....we'll see if the kit comes with front (also explains why I couldn't find any mention of it since the pic only shows the rear). The Turbo X has a Rock Shox fork that has bosses for a fender so should not be an issue with fitting. Schwalbes run a bit narrow; 700cx47 measures 45.

Fender and Rack kit for Turbo

Hi Douglas - do you have a part number or SKU on the front fender? Specialized has changed their website and its not listed anymore. I've got a 2015 Turbo X sitting at the LBS waiting on the rear rack to come in and get installed (I can do it but they only charged me $10 which sounds like a...

503 Speed Sensor error on Haibike/Bosch system

Thanks.....it wasn't clear in the manual where to index it. Its hard to see the line on a black sensor (I didn't even know there was an index line until the diagram). I'm not sure who assembled the magnet in that spot but its a poor choice - there's no way it could be positioned properly given...

503 Speed Sensor error on Haibike/Bosch system

I got this on my second ride tonight. The sensor appears to be sitting in a good spot and I see in the manual 5-17mm is the appropriate range. Any tips/tricks you can offer?

House burns down due to exploding bike battery

Yes, but its proportionally high in green-tech hipsters. Still....they usually ride fixies.

    Bosch Nyon

Bosch is saying they're will be a Nyon retro kit. I wonder how much it will cost.

    New Specialized Turbo Models

I believe I read the regen was minimal anyways as it interferes in a considerable way with ride-ability. It would be nice if they set regen to engage when the brakes are engaged....the drag takes the load off the brake system and of course helps you slow down faster too.

    haibike xduro-superrace vs Specialized Turbo

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Haibike but there's no dealer I can find on the east coast. Maybe that will change soon but I'll be SOL for any reflashes that need to happen. Wonder if I can buy the dongle and software myself.

    haibike xduro-superrace vs Specialized Turbo

Thanks. I've been looking at a Stromer ST1, a few Haibike models and the Grace belt models. Main purpose is a 35 mile round trip commute but there are some hills and gravel - nothing too major though.

    haibike xduro-superrace vs Specialized Turbo

I'm having a hard time deciding what to buy. I started out testing one of the clearance Turbo's in Vienna, VA. Its a lot of $$$ to spend and not be happy. I've talked to a few of the folks in this thread already; its funny to find this forum via google and then end up seeing names I've...
