    Pedego price decrease

With fuel prices, car prices, grocery costs going up along with so many other commodities it's surprising to see a price decrease for Pedego bikes on their website. As of March 1st a Platinum Boomerang is now $200 less than what I paid 3 weeks prior. There is now only a $500 difference between a...

Question about the NEW Platinum Boomerang Motor

I'm considering trading in my Boomerang for the new Platinum Boomerang. I like the extra features of the Platinum, such as the suspension fork, thudbuster seat post, 10 speeds, 52V 17.5A battery with larger taillight. I thought I heard the new Platinum with the 52V 17.5A battery also now has a...

    Noise Caused By Loose Spokes

My 26" Boomerang with about 225 miles on it recently developed a "tink tink" noise apparently coming from the rear wheel and related to the speed of the bike. It was heard when pedaling or coasting. I read somewhere it might be caused by a loose spoke or two. I wiggled each spoke by hand and...

    Shortage of e-bikes?

I see a lot of posts regarding the lack of e-bike inventory, long wait times, etc. Since purchasing two Boomerangs (26" & 24") in February, my local Pedego dealer continues to be well stocked with bikes. They post their sales on their Facebook site and are selling several bikes every week with...

    Tire not holding air problem

Wife's new bike hasn't yet been ridden as she recovers from a medical issue. I checked the tires recently and found the rear tire nearly flat. Pumped to up to 40 psi and checked it in a few days, down to about 20 psi. Aired it up again to 40 psi, after five days still at 40 psi. Is it a problem...

Lack of activity on this forum?

Hi, I'm a new Pedego Boomerang owner (bought two, one for me, one for my wife). There seems to be a lack of activity on this Pedego forum. Is this because there are so few problems with Pedego bikes, and/or owners don't have a lot of questions? Just curious as I see more activity on other brand...

    New owner with battery question

I have a new Pedego Boomerang with a 48v 15ah battery. The chart in the owner manual states at full charge the battery voltage is 58.8 volts. Why is a 48v battery at 58.8 v at full charge? Thanks for any and all advice.

    Battery voltage = charge percent

Is there a chart or a way to figure charge percent based on voltage level for a 48v 15a battery?

Recommendation for a cover for two bikes

I'm looking for a cover that will fit over two bikes (Pedego Boomerangs 24" & 26"). The cover will be used occassionally while motorhome camping, mainly at night to keep bikes protected and less visible. I'd like it to be waterproof. I've looked at a number of these covers on Amazon, so any and...

    Bag for rear rack

I have a new Pedego Boomerang and I bought a Pedego trunk bag for it, but the way it mounts it touches my behind and forces me to sit further forward on the seat than is comfortable. I took it back to the local Pedego store no problem, and am going to try a Pedego Convertible bag when a new...

    Pedego pricing

I'm considering purchasing two Pedego bikes, two folding locks, two mirrors, & one trunk bag. At posted retail prices the total will be about $7,000. Does anyone know if Pedego dealers will offer a discounted "package deal" if asked, or will they stick to the retail prices?

    Questions about first e-bike purchase

I posted this in another area of the forum and was advised to post it here in the Pedego owners forum. Question #1 below has been answered to some extent. Appreciate any advice and opinions. Thanks. My wife and I are considering getting a pair of E-bikes. She had a below the knee amputation a...

    Questions about choosing first E-bike

My wife and I are considering getting a pair of E-bikes. She had a below the knee amputation a few months ago and will be getting her prosthetic leg in a couple of weeks, so we have some time over the next few months to decide on bikes. She doesn't want to try to ride her "men's" style bike any...
