I read this article but its a bit complex: https://batteryuniversity.com/article/bu-803a-cell-matching-and-balancing Will an ebike battery still require a balance charge every once in a while even with a BMS? I think the BMS does not matter for balancing unless it is an active balancing system...

It seems my folding handlebar is being wonky, the handlebars can twist a bit easily out of place if I put the tire against something...have tried folding the handlebars and going at it with the 6mm allen key but it is already super tight and I cannot get it any tighter. Is it possible that the...

Be careful of electrical components on your ebike....

Netherlands The battery fire occurred while changing a broken controller. After connecting the battery to the system it caught on fire and was unstoppable. Cooling it down with water was the only option. That’s how I kept the damage to a minimum.

    Empty battery/Low battery indication

I thought this was worth noting that the Lectric XP does not have an 'empty' bar icon or 'dead' battery indication, even though there is 1 bar left on the idicator and you may be getting 42 volts it will not show an that you are actually on a dead battery. It will always show 1 bar left on the...

    Going beyond the speed limiter?

I would love to go faster on dirt trails and tracks, is there any way to bypass the speed limiter on our ebikes easily? I have seen a few people do it on their Rad bikes and others by disconnecting a white wire or even using electrical tape to bypass the connection. I know the Lectric XP was...
