5k miles on the original cassette is suspect. If they install those new parts a new cable and housing is required too. The fact that they didn't replacement is a key suspect, it's a cheap wear item, replace before you "think" you need it.

Did they change the cable and housing too? How much stretch on the chain? When was the cassette replaced? How do the teeth on the pulley/jockey wheels look? Way too many variables to blame the least failure prone part.

Every brand has a different philosophy. Tern, for instance, is all about a compact footprint so smaller wheels = less space. Yuba does it for the deck height as mentioned. Benno uses a few different sizes, 24" on the Boost.

It's not R&M's fault, it's the hazmat status of shipping paint in the US. BMW, Ducati, Triumph, and other high end moto companies don't sell touch up paint either.

Official word is no color code is available. Should someone want touch up paint a body shop should be able to match the color and mix up a bottle for touch up.
