Trust?? I do have confidence the power plants using fossil fuels (along with hydro and nuclear) will continue sending electricity into the grid 24/7. I buy most things from people I don't consider "friends." Full disclosure: my van relies on solar/batteries to satisfy our electrical needs...

Already on one. The only mention of biking is favorite places to ride. No pent up aggression, recall I don't see issues with rider/driver interaction around here.

Ooops, sorry to express an opinion on a forum. Would it be offensive to imply someone is a Snowflake? To be clear, I dislike Class 2 riders on MUP and any biker that thinks it's ok to block motor vehicles for relatively (undefined) long periods "because they have the right to." Remember, if...

Don't see "lycra gangs" around here so not sure where they ride. As retired people, we ride during the day. I assume they are working during the day. Periodically see the high school team out on weekends, usually on county roads that have fairly low motor vehicle density. It appears these days...

I would not generalize like that living in Illinois; but there is civility between riders and drivers.

Plenty of lycra here. Reinforcing the Heartland is not full of d'bags like the coasts.

There are multiple ways to look at this. I ride bikes the way I'd prefer bikes to be riden around me when I am driving. The advantage of being both a rider and driver.

I continue to count my blessings I live in the Heartland; I don't see d'bag conflicts at all. The only thing I would like to see change is getting Class 2s off the MUP.

Where did I imply I hate bikes and cyclists. I have been and continue to be a cyclist for ~60 years. Currently usually ride ebike.

If you see hostility problems, consider this as a potential cause; lycra or entitled ebike riders.

    “Deep cycle” battery tech...

These days RVers have gone LiFePO4. Prices have come down and the useable power and weight advantages beat AGM by far.

Quick research: they eliminated the attic, system is installed in the treated airspace. Piece of AI summary. I agree this will work fine. My HVAC is also in treated area.

Knowing a bit about HVAC, the closed attic does not make sense in hot humid climates. Don't know what an "earthstar" is, but years ago looked at an earth home (underground) had a sizeable dehumidifier in it.
