His preference is SuperChargers; I think they typically take 30 - 45 minutes. He got there earlier than anticipated and started charging. A sit-down dinner/visit of an hour is not real long.

I agree, it is fine for some. Not for us. We used to often travel with my brother; still do when he takes the van. Otherwise now meet him at a final destination. A 4 minute fuel stop for the Ascent once or twice a month isn't tremendously inconvenient. My brother was passing through the...

Kinda missed the point that if one is on a road trip one needs to stop to charge. Based on one data point (my brother) on a similar length trip, he stops more often than I do and spends much more time charging. Does nobody travel? Feel sorry for you folks.

Not when you are on a road trip over 500 miles. We stopped to fuel the Ascent today. For fun, I timed my wife fueling. Started timer when the car was shut off, she hadn't put her glove on while I drove so that took time. Total time from shut off to restart: 3 min 11 seconds; she didn't know...

"We" is strictly my wife and I. We travel a lot.

I find it adorable when people write things like this. Perhaps they should think before blindly copy/paste from whichever talking point website they use. Curious, where do you live that has capacitive highway charging so an EV doesn't need to stop to charge? Less than 10% of the miles we...

Circles are for limited use where 4 or 5 roads come together. I suppose close your eyes and pedal like an SOB at the entrance on a bike.

Do you file depth gauges on safety chain?

Used for smaller trees on the ground; easier on cutters back. I think this one is missing a guard. https://arboristsite.com/threads/bow-bar-what-is-the-purpose-of-a-bar-like-this.23048/

Sounds like a "study" problem for permits. Shouldn't be allowed to build where it won't/can't be used.

Trust?? I do have confidence the power plants using fossil fuels (along with hydro and nuclear) will continue sending electricity into the grid 24/7. I buy most things from people I don't consider "friends." Full disclosure: my van relies on solar/batteries to satisfy our electrical needs...

Already on one. The only mention of biking is favorite places to ride. No pent up aggression, recall I don't see issues with rider/driver interaction around here.

Ooops, sorry to express an opinion on a forum. Would it be offensive to imply someone is a Snowflake? To be clear, I dislike Class 2 riders on MUP and any biker that thinks it's ok to block motor vehicles for relatively (undefined) long periods "because they have the right to." Remember, if...

Don't see "lycra gangs" around here so not sure where they ride. As retired people, we ride during the day. I assume they are working during the day. Periodically see the high school team out on weekends, usually on county roads that have fairly low motor vehicle density. It appears these days...
