Specialize needs to tandardize the batteries and chargers within the same company.

yes but they are pretty much dumb chargers and are not charging thousand-dollar batteries.

Can 36v be better than 48?

well if you ride as much as I do, and batteries wear out as they do for me. I only get 3 years or so out of a 1400.00 battery.

this motor works but the one way bearing is shot so I am including the replacement side to fix it. it is a little over 14,000 miles on it but I don't have the skill to repair it includes the bosch right-side replacement. This is the performance line, not the performance line speed. My mechanic...

Can 36v be better than 48?

i get a workout but its not as much as I get on the acoustic without power. it just feels too easy. I am now so much faster on the tandem now too.

    Shimano Linkglide for e bikes.

on the tandem, we would usually get 2k on the 9th cog when we had the standard 11-42 cassette. I have found the separate cogs on ebay they are only about 12.00 each. but I needed it for this weekend, and i would not get the new one till Monday. I iwll stock up on all the 4 separate ones as you...

    Shimano Linkglide for e bikes.

Wore out two cogs on our linkglide cassette. The 9th and 10th Ithink after around 4000 miles, though not positive. the price is so high on these, though. They have two versions one for 140.00 that only has the 10th and 11 cogs loose with an aluminum spider and this guy that has the last 4 cogs...

Can 36v be better than 48?

I know I can't I tried riding my Trek to get the same workout on my acoustic, and it is almost impossible even in the lowest assist level. I am not trying to work hard on the acoustic either.

Can 36v be better than 48?

More power is typical in the world. I can't even use all the bosch power on the 4 gen motor. Even a 20% grade I only have to put out 450 watts or even less if I go up slowly. Now after riding a acustic bike, it's way more than I need. Speed is addicting.

Velotric Go 1 Spokes Sheared Off at Hub!

The drive side is always the weakest side because of the dish. You don't hear anything till it is really bad. if you have one broken spoke it may be ok. but two or three the wheel needs rebuilding.

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

Ya I am not too worried about it I just want the daily average to know how my energy levels and health are. Now that I know o can push more the tandem and the trek are more enjoyable and I get a better workout. I would not mind 100 or so watts of help on the steepest hills they are miserable...

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

That's what I am thinking. Most likely the bosch. or the way it's set up. its not made to measure your watts but to make the bike work well. but it could also just be the difference in bikes. it could be my cadence is higher; I tend to get 85 to 90 on the acoustic, but usually only 80 on the...

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

I only got 4.5 hours sleep so I figured this would be a good day to ride the trek I rode on eco the whole ride and exactly the same route. I rode a little bit without power to see how it felt. The ride felt about the same on the trek, and I felt about as warm. If I go by calories and heart rate...

Sometimes you feel like a mid, sometimes you don't....

Not so bad for me as I had my doner bike. But I had to replace the brakes as they were shot. I don't think I spent the 2k on the full bike costs, but I have a hell of a lot better components on it. and would not have come with the cool blue housing.
