    Vado Derestriction

How about installing a switch that shuts the restrictor on and off as one is riding on private land or a public place where speed is restricted. I could set my RCS up like that on the display. This leaves it up to the responsibility of the operator to follow the rules and regulations of the...

    Offset Saddle Adapter

I didn't mean to start something it was just food for thought. Seat posts and the frames are pretty much designed to take the weight in line with the post. Bicycle frames and seat-posts carrying strength vary a lot. If you have a steel frame and seatpost there is probably no way you can break them.

    Offset Saddle Adapter

Great idea and I am sure it works well but I would be a bit concerned about the leverage of sitting that far to the back of the seat post center and that it may over stress and bend or break the post or worse yet the bike frame, especially if used by a heavy rider operating on rough surface...

Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

I had a RCS like you only an earlier model that I loved the crap out of. It was just a nice riding unit that in my opinion had the right geometry. I didn't have to fix anything on mine except a couple of chains. I sold it with 1800 miles on it and the two bikes since just don't feel as good in a...

AI sites are full of lots of the answers to the stuff we ask about. What kind of adhesive is used on break pads. Just ask An AI site. Just don't get carried away and get addicted. One question leads to another and pretty soon you are sitting at the computer for a long time asking on question...

    Need Saddle Advice!

The only way you will find a saddle that works for you is to keep trying different ones till you find the right one. Fortunately most of them are cheap enough and returnable. Suspension seat post, mandatory in my opinion.

2 piston vs 4 piston brake pad lifespan.

It takes a lot of wasted energy to wear out break pads that quickly. Maybe you need a re-gen system. Try coasting more.

    Brose motor repair

Are Brose ebike motors really throw away motors? I sure hope not. When mine breaks I trust it will be able to be repaired because I do not like to ride e-bikes with a noisy motors. Mine is as near silent as they get and I love that feature more than I can say. Who wants to listen to a coffee...

    Damaged charger wire

If the cord gets repaired properly there is no reason it shouldn't work as it did before unless something got shorted out in your repair and destroyed something in the charger. If the damage was on the wall cord the repair could not damage anything in the charger. If on the cord that goes to the...

Choosing dutch type e bike for mostly flat terrain on a budget of £$1.5k

DA! Hey your favorite brand e-bike and the motors with belts, bearing and sprags have needed their share of repairs of which the ordinary person cannot even do.

    Splice motor cable to controller.

Not quite related but whenever I am changing circuit board or messing with any electrical wiring I always take pictures so I can backup to the original wire placements. My memory is good but it is short. The shortest pencile is better than the longest memory.
