Out Front Quadlock: 2025 Turbo Vado

I appreciate the replies but honestly I don't really don't care about damaging the phone camera. All I care about is... What phone holders are people using on their 2022/2025 turbo vados and could you please share a picture. Thanks in advance.

Out Front Quadlock: 2025 Turbo Vado

Hi I have searched this forum (and google) and have not been able to find a picture or determine if the out front quadlock for iPhone 17 pro will fit with the TCU in it's default location. I don't mind if it obstructs the TCU just as long as it can fit above it. Thanks in advance and I'd be...

    Turbo Vado not switching on

My Vado has been fine for the past two years when it wouldn't switch on and I started this thread. Good luck.

    Turbo Vado 3

I agree. I am sucker for getting the latest and greatest bike upgrade but there is nothing about the EVO other than the increased battery capacity that I think is an improvement.

    Turbo Vado 3

Hmmm maybe not... I wouldn't want to be pushing 100 cadence going 28mph though.

    Turbo Vado 3

Looks like the EVO 4 and 5 has a smaller chainring (40t). I wonder if they are limited to 20MPH just because it looks like you would spin out before getting to 28mph (40tx11t).

2022 Vado 4.0 TCD2 MasterMind Color Display Glass Separating

Ultimately I had to replace the whole screen/handle bar remote. I was out on the bike New Years Eve 2024 and rode in freezing rain to my corner bar. When I left the bar to ride home everything was frozen over. The whole bike was encased in ice and would not turn on! The mechanical on/off...

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

So I have a few hundred miles on the 5.0 now and I am still impressed. I expected the rear facing radar to more of a gimmick but it has turned out to be extremely useful. I ride in traffic 100% of the time and have for the past 30 odd years so I have used a side mirror for quite a long time...

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

Yes! So I now have a few 28 mile rides (all city/bike lanes) on the 5.0 and the extra power is significant. So much so it makes me wonder if there is more than just a software difference between my (very early 2022 4.0 and the newest gen 5.0).

    1.2 vs 2.0E motor

Very well articulated and I 100% agree based on experiential knowledge.

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

5.0 has a little more than 28% more torque than the 4.0, the front fork is significantly better (more adjustable and lighter), the brakes arte 4 piston (instead of two), front light is significantly brighter and the shifting is smoother. However the 4.0 never missed a shift and I never had to...

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

Picked up the new Vado 5.0 today and I have to say after 8k miles on a 4.0 I am so glad I spent the extra money.

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

Just ordered a Satin Seafoam 5.0! My old battery only has 170 cycles on it so I am looking forward to some century rides now that I can swap out the batteries mid ride!

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

Stefan would you expect that I could use my early 2022 battery in the newer bike? They do appear to have the same part number.

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

Interesting my very early (March) 2022 4.0 came with a 48t Praxis. Honestly though 40t or 48t for the terrain I ride would be fine. Heck I'd prefer a 53t.

VADO 5.0 2022 and later Model Question

I have a very early 2022 Specialized Vado 4.0 and I am approaching 10k miles on it. I love the bike but little things are starting to go wrong with it (rear light going out, MCU replacement) so I am considering purchasing a new 5.0. However I am wondering why the specifications are different...

    Turbo Vado not switching on

Weather here is now in the upper 70s and I have ridden the Vado almost every single day over the past 4 months. Bike is 100% fine with no issues whatsoever.

    48t 104bcd chainring for Vado

I am going to clean up the old ring and take some pictures of it and pictures of the brand new branded Praxis chainring. The old one has no markings at all. Also weird photos in this thread and online show the chain orientation the opposite of my new Praxis. But my bike is shifting perfect...
