    I bought a Turbo Tero X 6.0, AMA

Typo, the 5 is also 360psi. I think the main difference is that the 6 has a lockout, the 5 does not. For the design goal of the Tero X these shocks are perfectly adequate.

    I bought a Turbo Tero X 6.0, AMA

You run the rear shock at over 300psi? I know the rear shocks are different on the 5.0 and the 6.0 but I find on my 5 that I need to run my psi at about 220-230. I’m about 185lbs and that is a little higher than I’ve set rear shocks in the past to achieve 25-30% sag.

    Tero X 6 and 9 other ESUV's compared

That's a nice color. I almost bought the 6 but didn't want another black bike. I would've bought the morning mist if it had been available. Ultimately of the available colors I preferred the red onyx and didn't mind saving some money and the slightly lower torque motor.

    Tero X 6 and 9 other ESUV's compared

It's on their site as an offered color here in the states but from what I understand it's never actually been in stock to order.

That’s what the article said it was and the specs they gave were for the 6.

    Tero X 6 and 9 other ESUV's compared

They may have only released it overseas. I saw another review or video that was also white and was foreign.

    Tero X 6 and 9 other ESUV's compared

I read this article that compares and reviews 10 E-SUV bikes. Spoiler alert, the Tero X 6 best out some pretty decent competition that included Riese and Muller Delight. I don't have the X6, but I have the X5 and it's fantastic. Here's a link to the article for those that are interested...

    Shipping fees

I’m curious why Zen advertises on their site free shipping to the US yet when go to order a bike they let you that they’re covering most of the shipping and import fees but they tack on an additional $110 for shipping. This is not free shipping and should not be advertised as such.

Considering a Specialized, got a few questions

I rode a Vado 3.0 IGH today and was quite impressed. I’m a huge fan of the Vado 4 and certainly prefer it as it’s a class 3 and has very easy speed. I was surprised at how strong of a hill climber the 3 IGH was with its 50nm motor. I ride my Tero X 5 in the stock eco setting pretty exclusively...

    Samurai/Zen quality Question

I’m very likely to buy a Samurai, most likely today or in the morning. I’ve been looking all over the internet and I’m not finding hardly any positives or negatives from actual owners. It appears Zen has shipped many bike but I’ve only seen a handful of owners on the forums. This is likely a...

    Battery/Motor efficiency/range question

I absolutely will be enjoying my Tero X, hopefully for years to come. I’m not worried about the range, but was more just curious about the difference and also how to best maximize the efficiency through cadence. Good point on xD freehub, I’ll need to look into that but hopefully not anytime...

    Battery/Motor efficiency/range question

That very well may be the difference. I didn’t take the differences of the tires into consideration. For the riding I like to do I’m better off with the ground controls. I really like the stock Vado tires and am considering getting a Vado 4 for myself in addition to the Tero. I’ll probably wait...

    Battery/Motor efficiency/range question

I figured cadence was the main difference. It seems like my wife may keep her bike in lower gear and spinning at a higher cadence, I’d guess in the 85-95 range whereas I probably stay in the 75-80 range. I wish I could put a larger chain ring on the Tero but there’s just no room. I think when...

    Battery/Motor efficiency/range question

Yes, I’m aware of the differences in weight effecting range, but I don’t our weight difference accounts for the total difference. I believe there is more at play and think it could be linked to cadence.

    Battery/Motor efficiency/range question

Other than software changes to the settings, what effects range and motor efficiency? I’m very aware of rider weight, terrain, wind, elevation, etc and how that effects the range. I’m specifically asking about cadence range. I’m asking because during a ride earlier with my wife, she on her Vado...

    Specialized releases Turbo Tero X

I've put a lot of miles on my new Tero X 5 over the last week and it's been stellar. The power is perfect, the range is great, and the bike overall is extremely versatile. I do kind of wish it had the Vado gearing but it's not a big deal. I was riding with my wife today who just got a new Vado 4...

    Specialized releases Turbo Tero X

I too was interested in the Vado 5 IGH. My lbs told me June of 2024. Hopefully they will have fixed any issues the Automatic was having or will just go with the twist shift which would be preference And yes, according to the Specialized chart the XL frame was the suggested size. But getting in...

    Specialized releases Turbo Tero X

I’ve tried the M, L, and XL. I’m 6’3 and felt most comfortable on the large frame. I absolutely love the Tero X 5. The majority of my rides are on trails, rails to trails, gravel, and pavement in my neighborhood. I don’t commute anywhere but ride everyday. The bike does exactly what I need it to...
