I don't know the proper name??

PC My Juggs 4 bike has these spec's for the steering stem = Threadless 1-1/8" - 1-1/2" tapered, I don't know the bottom/top bearing sizes yet. The #1 item is, I don't want to lose the front basket, as this bike has very critical COGL = center of gravity line, as it is. The F basket with the...

I don't know the proper name??

PC Thanks for the photo's, A rough measurement from my bike, I would need approximately a 9-10" long steering tube length. The frame is 7"+ in height, with the excess of the steering tube above the frame. One item, I did NOT think about is. I will lose my front basket if I go this way, using a...

I don't know the proper name??

Ah PC, When I went to school in the very early 60's, 135mm from 150mm was 15mm/.590" difference, divided by 2 = 7.5mm/.283" + or - approximately. How did you come up with 12.5mm per side? The brake side will be less than the non brake side...at least from my quick measurements, to keep the...

I don't know the proper name??

PC I can't use a standard fork, the clamps need to go where the standard fork has it's compression stroke/area's. On an inverted fork, I can clamp any where from the top down to 12>16" down the fork, there is NO movement of the fork legs in the top section. I am still pencil whipping this...

I don't know the proper name??

Look at the line running BEHIND the tire/rim!!! Top of the photo... and a couple of spokes also... The reason I wanted to find a new fork, was because I can clamp a couple of soft gun rack clamps to the fork leg for carrying my air rifles, small game season is almost here in Oct, etc. I can't...

I don't know the proper name??

Thanks Chazmo, Found lots of them, but only for 150mm solid axle, the 135mm QR for the Juggs 4 seems to be hiding somewhere, but I got "Chance" and "Sage" hunti'n them...lol From my limited experience dealing with E bikes, I'll probably have to change out the front tire to a 135mm solid axle...

I don't know the proper name??

Guys, I am attempting to mount a long gun carrying rack (gun case) to the front forks of both my E bikes, the Wart Hog bike poses no problems, BUT, the Juggs 4 bike won't work because the way the front fork operates/compresses. In simple terms, the WH forks compress at the bottom, with the...

What have you learned from your e-bike experiences?

As I have found out, you can quickly get in over your head, if you don't preplan ahead, not enough juice for the trip home. I go farther than I planned, and that leads too TIRED old bones, sometimes.... lol
