    Suggestions for 200 mile maintenance?

I have a full suspension e-mtb different brand. I have 1500 miles. I have replaced the brake pads twice and the chain once. Where I live there is little flat, it is up or down, that's why the brake pads. Since I ride casual on single track, dirt roads and pavement I have not serviced the...

Known Issues & Problems with Liberty Trike Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Wiggle the front wheel side to side to see if there is any slop. Tighten front wheel nuts if needed. Check for loose spokes. Check to see if the brake rotor is bent. They are easy to straighten or cheap to buy. Good Luck!

    E-Bike...Price Range...Climbing...Higher...

It maybe my age 70, but I really don't like the high speeds. My reactions are not what they used to be. On a straight downhill, I may hit 24 mph before applying the breaks. I very seldom ride a road with a speed limit over 25 mph, mostly gravel and trails. Just my riding style.

    Negotiating curbs

I had an older Rad Mini without the front suspension. You can jump up a curb but I had to bounce and lift the front wheel. The timing is crucial. Curb height can vary from 5 to 8 inches depending on what the curb was designed to do. Bigger wheels and suspension definitely make curb jumping...

Greetings from the SF Bay Area!

You are like most of us, our first e-bike has limitations. I started with a Rad, similar to the Hemiway, now I have a Specialized Turbo Levo. It is a big change in power and comfort. It's also easier to load a 50 lb bike instead of a 70 lb bike. Enjoy riding what you got.

    RONG! Size

Install a dropper seatpost for mounting and dismounting. Its the only way I can ride a bike that fits when pedaling.

I have a Specialized Turbo Levo it came with a Specialized seat post installed by the dealership. It was a demo/rental.

    Dropper Seatpost

Having the lever on the handlebar allows me to drop the seat at the same time as braking. Being short legged, I need to get the seat down quickly so I don't fall over. This is especially necessary when something makes me stop to avoid an accident.

Off-road riding options for shorter riders

I believe to find an emtb that small you will have to go with the name brands. I would start visiting every bike shop that sell emtbs. I am 5'6" tall and found that only bikes like Specialized, Trek Haibike, and others will have XS frames. I ride a medium Specialized Turbo Levo. Arlberg Sports...

    Hitch racks for Cars

I don't know much about the smaller hitch sizes but you should look at the videos of bike racks on various vehicles on etrailer.com. They install racks with bikes on most vehicles and drive over speed bumps and such. This may help you decide on a rack and the weight effect. The quality of the...
