Do you mean System 2 or gen2? I don't think any of the dynamic support modes were ever available for gen2 drive units. But they were introduced for gen4 drive units running System 2 a year or two before they started phasing in the Smart System.

That looks like a gen2 chainring, not for a gen4 bike. That would be ridiculously small on a gen4 drive unit- you would have to pedal 120 rpm just to get to 31kph on a gen4 CX in the 11t cog on the back. On a gen2, that same 120 rpm would get you to about 78kph and 90 rpm gets almost 59kph...
