    Shimmy and creak

I did manage to finally get my left crank arm off by cutting down to near the square taper. After that taking off just the left BB cup & reinstalling fixed my snapping noises. The BB did feel dry spinning the spindle, but surprisingly still fairly solid without alot of play so one part I won't...

Seat Suspension - CCS - Will this fit?

I've had mine almost since I got my CC back in Spring 2016. It's a great value & functional suspension seatpost compared to some of the other offerings.. The only thing I don't care for is that I've been trying to get replacement bushings/pins for over a year from Suntour & they seem to have a...

Cracking Spoke Holes CC Wheel After 7k+ Miles

I will definitely get the rim/wheel replaced. Just hoping it can be done with little downtime & for a reasonable cost as I suddenly have alot of other maintenance items to take of such as new chain/ rotor/ disc pads/ new fork oil/seals. The quality of the stock rims probably aren't suited to my...

Cracking Spoke Holes CC Wheel After 7k+ Miles

This is my 2nd wheel after the original developed motor issues. Noticed this after cleaning dried salt/dirt off from winter commuting. Of the 5-6 other cracks I've seen this it the worse of it. I wonder if it'll be cheaper to buy a new wheel or get this re-laced with a new rim/spokes. If I can...

    Shimmy and creak

I have had a creak/snap for awhile on my original CC. It usually goes away awhile after a few minutes of riding. I suspect it's the bottom bracket too, but have been unable to do anything since I stripped the crankarm removal threads on the left one. Tried a homemade puller but it won't bulge so...

A squeak fixed: probably was a dry, overrunning clutch roller

When mine was new there was a squeak from the motor. It turned out to be the rubber coated bushing/bearing rubbing against the axle & some oil fixed that.

Over 11,000 Miles On My Original Cross Current

I guess I was curious if it could double as a workstand. That does look like the correct fork from the description. Trying to decipher the specs on (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) there may be 3 models, the normal 1-1/8 one (AM?), an XL (extra long?), & a tapered model for the big headtubes.

Over 11,000 Miles On My Original Cross Current

I'm ok with the kickstand other then when the crankarm catches it while backing up. Does that double leg stand around you to spin the crank & wheel? I wouldn't mind the LCD either just to know how much I'm draining the battery & how much power I'm putting in. Here are pics of the fork...

    Marathon Plus Tires - Opinions

I use the Marathon with the one step down from their best puncture protection. One tire had a QC issue with the sidewall slightly budging out 1mm in one spot, but I'm still using it. Got a flat recently on one of them running over some piece of stiff wire while luckily close to home. When...

Over 11,000 Miles On My Original Cross Current

Far from it, but I have previously use zip ties before. Rubberband actually work just as well if not better until they fail from age/exposure.

Over 11,000 Miles On My Original Cross Current

Year round commuting 33 miles/weekday near since the bike's release through all four seasons & all weather conditions. On 3rd set of brake pads 2nd battery 2nd chain - nice advantage against mid drive 2nd wheel 2nd fork - btw the rock shox paragon air fork is very nice, well sealed, & hasn't...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Though the stock chain on my original CC was longer then needed, a new chain at a more correct length did not ultimately get rid of the issue. Seems to be a common problem with 1x setups so I think the only fix will be to put on some sort of chain guide. I've been meaning to see if I could do...

    CC Motor Burnt Out

When my wheel went bad it didn't sound like that, but rather an electrical whirring sound & the motor wasn't engaging reliably. A replacement wheel fixed it, but I really wonder what was wrong with the original wheel since I may need to work on it myself next time since I'm out of warranty. I am...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I've had this issue & for me it was either the controller or the wiring harness. Do you ride in wet weather? Check the connector from the display to the harness for any corrosion. Maybe gently put pressure on the various connections there as you you turn on the bike.

Custom Rear Bracket for CCS - replace reflector with tail light.

Yep from the bottom. This was custom to my Performance Bike branded rack, but the same idea can be applied to any.

Custom Rear Bracket for CCS - replace reflector with tail light.

I modeled & printed a mount so I could put a reflector & blinky on the rear of my rack on my CC. Printed in PETG & it's held up for several months now & thousands of miles. I was afraid of layer separation with the orientation (slightly angled & near perpendicular to the tube) I printed in but...

    Thoughts on CrossCurrent Air?

If not already see if they can re-lace the wheel with higher gauge spokes. There must have been enough issues that for the upcoming Crosscurrent S the rear wheel is now advertised with 13g Sapim spokes. My first wheel had alot of issues with spoke snapping at the bend, but a replacement wheel...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

https://shop.juicedbikes.com/collections/e-bikes/products/crosscurrent-s The only thing missing are upgrade options for the seatpost to a suspension one & an option for an upgraded suspension fork. I hope an upgrade can be made for the original CC for just the motor bits.

Rock Shox Paragon Air Suspension Fork For CC

I'll have to look into this Shadow Plus. Sound like the solution for slack in the CC's 1x drivetrain. I thought it might be the BB after tightening my cranks, but it seems it was the chainring bolts that were not tight enough.

Rock Shox Paragon Air Suspension Fork For CC

Here's with the fender just installed. Had a first sport mode commute today on the crappy broken roads here & the fork soaked up the little stuff with ease while softening the bigger hits very well. Nearly have the thing running fairly smooth now. All that's left is to find out what's causing...
