I've got 5400 KM on mine and it's getting way too firm. I wonder if there's a way to replace the seat and padding and keep the frame and rails. Seems a shame to toss the whole seat into the dumpster. I live in Italy and the Selle Royal seats are around fifty bucks give or take.

8000 K or miles? Either way that's a lot of riding. Here (northern Italy) there's no goat's head thorns and the paths are mostly smooth. In about two years I have not yet had a flat tire with the Energizer 50s.

How are the Marathon E-Plus tires holding up? Have you noticed any faster drain on the battery or other issues? I'm considering these for my Gepida city bike, size 40-622 28 X 1.5. The stock tires on the bike are a Schwalbe 50 Energizer and the rear is getting smooth after 5500 KM.

Update--got the bike from the shop. They couldn't find the original parts so they put on some kind of eBike chain, and a gear cassette that feels like low gears are lower. I like it. I'm pedaling in higher gears now and it's easier to maintain a good clip on flat ground. Trying to get the data...

The spokes are described as " SAPIM Stainless Black." I believe this was a random QC error. The rest of the spokes seem OK and there has not been a general problem with them. I have to take the bike in for new brakes and they will check all of them. Really chewing through those brakes.

The shop tightened this, and spun the wheel around to see if it was obviously out of true. Next week I am taking it in for a software update to the Bosch motor and they'll look it over more thoroughly.

The bike is a Gepida city bike, 2017. Not sure what brand of rims it has. Will find out if the rim is bent or why a single spoke might be so loose.
