    Aurora Limited tire protection

A LBS offers a service here called “Desert Proofing”. I think it applies everywhere. They install a liner, thicker tube and tire sealant. You can do this yourself. They charge $35-$40 per tire (and perform the labor), it’s not a bad upgrade to improve the puncture resistance and give one more...

    Fat Tire Bike Hitch Racks

Just tilt the bike down a little to clear the other bike's handlebars. It's being supported by the ramp. I'm using the Hollywood Sport Rider Rack for ebikes.

top picks of ebikes by type

I find most lists of “best ebikes” to be useless. They are just someone else’s personal view of what’s “best”. I do enjoy reading and watching various reviews of ebikes but only in the types that interest ’me. As from a post from above, don’t get “Butt Hurt” because your ebike isn’t mentioned in...

How do you secure your bike?

Generally, I just ride my ebikes roundtrip. But occasionally I might stop for a drink or light bite to eat. I park the bike where I can see it and/or other people are around that can see it. I use an ABUS folding lock with and alarm for the frame and a smaller ABUS chain lock for the front...

    Supply Problems/eBike Prices

I talked to one of the technicians at the store/shop and along with the increased shipping container costs, long lead times and component availability, is the issue of getting them trucked in to their facility. Not enough trucks. The normal supply chain he used for getting his products delivered...

    Supply Problems/eBike Prices

In this case a 69% increase in 9 months. I’ve another popular ebike that increased by $100 but it also came with better features/options. This is for the exact same bike with no improvements or options. A 69% price increase in such a short time frame is substantial.

Local Bike Shops and upgrade or repairs to Internet purchased EBikes

I guess I should count myself as lucky as (1) the manufacturer of my ebikes is just 3-4 miles away and they service them and (2) a LBS in town says they work on all brands of ebikes. I went to that LBS to make sure they that they do indeed work on different ebikes. I brought one of them with me...

    Supply Problems/eBike Prices

I know this topic has been discussed multiple times here and I paid little attention to it. I had already purchased my ebikes so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. This morning I went to the website where I purchased my ebikes to see if anything new has showed up. When I purchased my first one...

    Penta Pin Security Bolts

If I have to leave my bike parked for a short period of time, I lock it with an ABUS Alarmed Bordo Folding lock. I try to park it where it’s visible and only for a short period of time. I worried that someone would walk off with my seat and seatpost as it had a quick release clamp. I purchased a...

Known Issues & Problems with Soul Fast E Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I was referring to the Saber Pro. Stomper SS is for more aggressive riders. I’m not a fan of the Triple forks.

    great cordless air pump.

That looks like it would be fine for home use or carry in the trunk of a car for sure. Makita is a good brand. I actually carry a smaller rechargeable air pump in my handlebar bag as part of my "Oh Sh!t" kit. First saw it on Bolton Ebikes youtube vid. Bought one from him and then I bought a...

Bike Registration (In Case Bike Is Stolen)

Found this website where bikes can be registered for in case they are stolen. Might help with recovery. Every little bit helps. I registered my bikes today. https://bikeindex.org

Average Cruising Speed on your e-bike

Riding a beach cruiser style bike. Upright position, 750w, 48v. I peddle around leisurely in PAS 1 and maintain 14 to 15 mph. I have had it up to 32mph with me pedaling my ass off but that was just to see how fast I could go. That would be difficult to maintain for any length of time. I’m not in...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Yes, Tempe Town Lake. Nice place to ride. I went to Papago Park a couple months back and most everything was blocked off except the zoo. Would like to cruise around Papago.

    Handlebar Jack!

I bought one. Tried it out to see how it would work. Definitely worth the price. Permanent piece of kit.

Known Issues & Problems with Soul Fast E Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Thanks for your clarification. Yes I have two of the Saber Pro’s. Hub drives with the 750W motors and 14.5aH batteries. I live about 4 miles from Soul Fast eBikes and they were assembled there so maybe that’s why I haven’t had any major issues. I had a flat on one caused by a rough edge on the...
