I messed up today, trying to re-torque the rear axle on my ST-2. I inadvertently must have over torqued it and it is "frozen up" to the point where I broke the 5mm allen key trying to get it loose. Has anyone else run into this problem at some point? I'm trying to loosen it by going counter...

On the ST-2, turn on the bike, select Menu, Down Arrow, System, Units, choose metric or imperial. It is likely similar on an ST-1, in terms of getting into the System commands.

Thanks EriderM...did you by chance take a pic of the pins as inserted in your replacement Omni. Their diagram looks not too easy to read in terms of the matching of the pin structure; you must have got it right?

EriderM...seems like I am in the same boat (sending me a replacement Omni for my lack of communication). I am wondering if you might have any tips on replacing it as a DIY project? Did you run into anything that might be good to know in advance? Thank you!

Ravi, curious as to why 15Nm torque? My understanding is that 20Nm is the correct torque for the rear wheel...and am wondering if 15Nm is to address this problem. Does one have to get into the service menu to recalibrate the torque?

Any tips on best practices for maintaining battery during winter storage? I will likely ride some if the roads are try and the salt truck hasn't been by for a few days; otherwise bike will for the most part be in "storage" for the Winter and I would like to maintain the battery as best as can be.
