Seat post for me as well. Happens regularly after a few months of riding. Pulling out the post, wiping it off, lightly re-lubricating and reinstalling fixes it in 5 minutes. It was enormously annoying before I figured this out!

As far as I know you can only get it through a European App Store. I created a U.K. iTunes account and got it there. Have to jump through a number of hoops but it can be done.

That's frustrating. Do you know what firmware version your Nyon has? I don't think changing the controller base will have any effect--basically the same mounting base is used/sold for both.
