    Buying/Configuring a Vado

what you claim is opposite my personal experience people are donating their free time trying to help you. don’t throw that back at them. nobody here (AFAIK) works for Specialized. We’re just friendly folks helping one another I’m out. Good f’g luck dude.

    Buying/Configuring a Vado

Not sure what’s tricky? select the Vado 5.0, choose color and size, click on Find In-Store. no IGH models show up. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/turbo-vado-5-0/p/206151?color=348417-206151&searchText=95022-3003

    Buying/Configuring a Vado

FWIW I have a Vado 4.0 that I bought used for $2000 less than the Vado 5.0 which I’d planned to buy and frankly find the 4.0 gives more power than I need. Remember torque and power are related but different, power is the thing to focus on as well as magnification of rider input. I’d see if...

    Arghhhhh! My New Bike😡😡

My 2022 Vado display and mount are garmin quarter-turn compatible - I've tested with my Edge 830 and another Garmin mount.

    Arghhhhh! My New Bike😡😡

Okay, guess ya can't believe everything you read on the internet. :p I've edited my prior post. Li-polymer is a rechargeable battery type - its use in the TCD-w suggests it serves to hold data in the TCD when the main battery is removed for a while, and presumably is charged from the main...

    Vado (SL), Gazelle, Oh My..

@harr forgive me for not reading all the details of every post, but I did skim and noticed your mention of having a Carbon road bike. if you are someone who likes data - uses a Garmin or wahoo or something - and wants data from your e-bike such as rider power input and cadence and such, verify...

    Question on 'dropped chain'?

Spitballing here, but it might be worth comparing number of links in your chain to others, just to rule out the possibility of an extra couple links.

Also perhaps you could attach an adhesive male Garmin mount to the broken one? https://www.amazon.com/Portsys-Bracket-Adapte-Garmin-Computer/dp/B077D6QVSL/

    Arghhhhh! My New Bike😡😡

Disregard - the following is apparently incorrect. I’ve recently read elsewhere that there is a button battery under this hatch. I’d investigate before making it permanently inaccessible.

    Creo Tire Pump

@mmwada any issue with the water bottle being offcentered with this mount? It doesn't stick out too far to interfere with legs, does it? BTW - could someone tell me the circumference of the Creo downtube? I don't yet have my Creo but want to get some paint protection film ordered in an...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Looks like there's a new VLCS model coming too... Other than obvious visual difference it's unclear what's improved from the current model?

    Creo SL vs Vado SL

Also ask about the tire pressure, it’s not uncommon for tires to be way overinflated resulting in a hard ride. Particularly with the E5 coming with 28mm tires vs the Diverge Sport Carbon’s 42mm tires.

Sale on IGH & SL bikes (US)

FWIW - I chatted with RiderCare a couple days ago asking about how long the sale was scheduled to continue. They replied that it had been scheduled to end on March 20th, but ecommerce team kept it going and hadn't given a date. Today when I was in my Specialized LBS - ordering a Creo - the...

    Creo SL vs Vado SL

Published geometry is pretty close - 73.5º seat tube angle and 70mm BB drop on the Vado SL for all sizes, and the Creo SL has 74º to 73º seat tube angle and 80.5mm to 75.5mm BB drop depending on size. So - seat tube angle is nearly the same, and the motor may up to 1cm lower relative to the...

I could be wrong, but it seems to me the FutureShock 1.5 is supposed to have one of the springs in it, choosing which one based on expected riding/conditions? https://support.specialized.com/sirrus/en/components-compatibility/future-shock

anyone know actual weight difference between a Creo Carbon Comp and a similar aluminum model?

It seems to vary somewhat. At least in the US, both Trek and Scott tend to list weights on their websites; Trek cites the weight for a size (often 56), Scott gives an "average" with wording to it varying by size and accessories. Specialized and Giant do not list weights on their website, nor...

    Turbo Vado SL 4.0 vs 5.0 SL EQ(Possibly pre-owned)

Yes, though that is an isolated instance - it is something OP should consider. Nevertheless, the OP had the impression of used bike having no warranty, which is incorrect. Better the OP work from a position of knowledge, yes?
