Reduced eBike range in *really* cold weather?

I'm fortunate to live on the west coast of Norway as the winters are nothing like the on the eastern parts - which really can be bitterly cold. The temperature rarely dips below -10 celsius/14 Fahrenheit. More often than not it's around -5 or thereabout. My old bike had a 400 wh battery and had...

    Phone Mount Suggetions?

I haven't tried it myself so I cannot vouch for it but Fidlock's vacuum solution seems to be interesting? https://www.fidlock.com/consumer/en/vacuum/

Battery covers / insulation for colder weather

I used a neoprene cover too on my old bike because it was recommended. It rains on average 250 days a year where I live and although our winters can get cold and miserable it rarely dips below -10 Celsius. I honestly cannot say I noticed any difference with the cover on, and I suppose it was...

    I am super delighted!

God I love this bike! Last Tuesdsay a mate from work and I took an early day off and went for a bike tour. This time on asphalt only, but it's still nice to feel the fast flowing pace and still be in eco mode. The distance was a little more than 30 kilometers and it was wonderful with an autumn...

    Superdelite Mountain Owner Thread

I've watched your videos on Youtube and enjoy them 👍 I also recently ordered a fidlock bottle, but alas it doesn't fit unless I leave the Bordo lock at home. I have the 590 cl, so if your bottle is smaller it might just fit. I'm a big fan of Camelback Hydration packs and I have just replaced my...

Any tips for reinserting rubber battery cover?

Lovely photos from what must have been a fantastic trip!

    I am super delighted!

Had my first of hopefully many long tours today. The trip lastet for 3,5 hours and the distance was 63,3 km on paved roads, gravel roads and the odd rooty forest road thrown in. The Superdelite is absolutely stunning and excels when given challenges such as climbing ascents of up to 24% with...

    I am super delighted!

Certainly :) Here's a pic of the new pedals (VP 538) They are not massively different but they do have small studs to keep your foot in place in slippery conditions. I suspect that will come in handy next winter. I also bought a new courier-style bag instead of the old Ortlieb - think it's...

    I am super delighted!

I contacted my dealer and they've sorted out the issue with the missing parts from the GX option. The Ergon "bar ends" are ordered and on the way and the proper pedals have been fixed to the bike. They couldn't get hold of Ergon seat but provided me with a Selle Royal Lookin Gel seat - and what...

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

That's interesting? What made you dislike the Superdelite - compared to the Homage?

    I am super delighted!

😄 Seems like you have the perfect roadside assistance Lumos! The Norwegian Automobile Association is a membership based organisation much like the RAC in the UK. It sparked quite a controversy when they decided to offer membership for bicyclists as traditionally most motorists here loathe...

    I am super delighted!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! So, maybe it's best to keep it hex key nuts to make sure the Rohloff is kept in good working order. I don't fancy carrying a big heavy torque wrench with me all the time, but I have ordered a roadside assistance service in case of a mechanical failure or...

    I am super delighted!

Ah, thanks. So the hex keynut is here to stay then :)

    I am super delighted!

I'm a bit hesitant to remove the wheel before I know the proper torque when putting the wheel on again, so I cannot provide photos yet. However, I found some info on Rohloff's website about torque and it suggests two different axles (?) - on page four -...

    I am super delighted!

Thanks, I wrongfully assumed it had a throgh axle. Do you know if it' possible to replace the hex key nut with a quick release skewer?

    I am super delighted!

Thanks guys for all your likes and comments :) and congrats with your new bike #BruceBrown - and your Fabric bottles;) #MC2, I will certainly be writing a short review later on 👍

    I am super delighted!

My Superdelite GX with Fox Float arrived a couple of days ago, and it's fantastic. Having only tried it for a relatively short test run before deciding to order it, I was a tiny bit worried it would be too "cushioned". Instead I find it to be quite sporty despite its hefty weight. My bum is...

    Superdelite weight limit

Thanks @Lumos and @rudym - good points! And the weight saving is something I'm already working on :)

    Superdelite weight limit

Thanks for your reply. I believe R&M states - at least here in Europe, that the weight limit includes the trailer as well. I was hoping that that maybe one could change some of the parts like perhaps pedals and seatpost?
