Vado sl water bottle cage issues with size small step through

The range extender should come with the proper cage designed for it.

CLASS 1 EBIKES: A VANISHING BREED?

Yes, except for the Levo line as their MTB’s are all Class 1 as far as I know.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

My wife and I have our quick ride loop from the house that starts with a short, steepish downhill on a dirt/mulch path and then all bike path downtown, short city street ride to a loop of bike paths along the river and a canal. We can also add a steep climb or some real MTB trails. The end of...

Triage or Emergency Medical Kit for biking Recommendation?

Agree with your comments. I was doing mountaineering and wanted to learn first aid which led to being a volunteer EMS person. Education is the FIRST thing to have in a first aid kit.

Triage or Emergency Medical Kit for biking Recommendation?

ABC. Airway, breathing, circulation. On the road, what you can carry will be limited so that kit will be good but add some clotting agent such as celox to help any bad wounds from bleeding.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I have a Racktime rack on my Creo Carbon Evo but have not yet loaded it up. It does have mounts at the dropouts but you need a new seatclamp collar to mount the upper.

People for Bikes Presents 3-Class as "Voluntary" to the CPSC

Would bet earbuds and lack of situational awareness cause more injuries than any class 3 bike ever does!

Help me find cycle shoes I can walk in.

Wonder if this group might be helpful: https://opedge.com/Articles/ViewArticle/2005-01_10 Also wonder if the VA might have resources with all the amputees they work with?

Help me find cycle shoes I can walk in.

You need a 2 hole SPD shoe which is primarily considered an MTB shoe but is used by many road riders for the very reason you state, ie walking. Lots of options in shoes and pedals including ones where you clip in on both sides or just one and the other side is a flat pedal.

    Replacing Como “The Cup” seat

I just got a Como and, until I changed riding style, did not like it. If I ride like my other bikes, it is not comfortable but if you ride like a beach cruiser, relaxed and upright, casual riding, it works. My wife on the other hand loved it immediately and I am putting one on her Trek MTB.

    Como Tire Width

I just picked up a Como3 and, without fenders, it would seem to have clearance front and back to go to maybe a 2.4-2.5 but have not tested it.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

No, if I still had the Vado I could but is OK, it will likely get short mileage use. If I am going any distance, the Creo and range extender should get me near 100 miles based on the current use I am seeing.

    Well this sucks

Prejudice = Intellectual laziness. Then again, some people are just evil pieces of excrement.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

So, I had my bike shop sell my Creo E5 and my Vado to buy my Creo Carbon Comp Evo. Bought that when the E5 sold and now that the Vado sold, I am getting a small Como step through as a “visitors bike” or for when my wife or I just feel like riding a cruiser. I test rode one and they are quite fun!

    Can we change the culture?

I think the message is that if we have a positive attitude towards each other there is a lot less drama in the world and we might find we have more in common (we all like riding bikes for example) than we have differences. Common ground breeds collaboration which breeds cooperation which builds...

    Can we change the culture?

My wife and I went for a ride today. Took my Levo and my wife was on her Powerfly 9 FS equipped. Had an interesting interaction. As we were crossing a street, a very fit couple on their road racing bikes smiled, waived hello and said “nice bikes” to my wife! Apparently we all CAN get along!
