    Introduction from Southern California

Clever fix, Jack. Gets frustrating when the ebike ‘technicians’ can’t resolve a problem.

Just joined and new to biking...

From my experience, hauling bikes around inside a car gets old quickly, unless we’re talking something with the room of a station wagon or van. I would research having a hitch installed and using a hitch-mounted carrier. I used a roof-mounted carrier (prior to ebikes) and much prefer the...

    New to eBikes

Sounds like my kind of riding, Brick! 😀 Wow you were cranking out some serious miles there for awhile for a guy who didn’t like riding. Ebikes have certainly made the two-wheeled platform an even more enjoyable/practical method of exercise and getting around for me. I tow a little...

RockShox Reba Install on Turbo Vado

Installed a 27.5 100mm travel RockShox Reba on my Vado 4.0 today to replace the atrocity called SunTour Mobie A32. 😂 This was the closest match in axle-to-crown measurements that I could find (within 10mm of OEM) so the geometry differences will be negligible for what I do. This particular...

    Best ebike repair stand

That Efficient Velo Tools stand looks like the creme de la creme, if you don’t need something that’s portable. I have the Feedback Pro Elite, and it has been a nice stand for many years on my analog bikes. On ebikes however, it truly begs for mercy. Battery removal is a must in my opinion.

    Seat post

I have had good luck with both the Kinekt and Redshift seatposts…just buy a shim to make either one work. I would apply a little grease to the outside of the shim before inserting it into the bike’s frame; could aid in removal later, if necessary.

Truck Bed Rack - 2 Ebikes with Fenders

It can get expensive quick! I have seen a couple models designed for truck beds that allow you to keep both wheels on, but $$$$$ Although something like what Roamers posted could be made to work with out a huge outlay of cash. Let us know what you come up with.

Truck Bed Rack - 2 Ebikes with Fenders

Would something like this interest you, Midway? 2x10 is placed in bed of pickup, either at front or rear, depending on which way you want to place the bikes. Front tire must be removed, then you place the fork in the RockyMounts adapter and secure with your through axle. I believe your...

    RockyMounts HotRod

That is a nice set-up, PrairieDog. I rarely carry more than one bike at a time, but this was something I kind of wanted to try- see how I like it. Funny story about 1UP…I bought one years ago, thought it was TOO nice, and sold it. 😂. There stuff is phenomenal.

    RockyMounts HotRod

Here are a couple photos of an item made by RockyMounts, called the HotRod. I bolted these to a piece of 2x10 lumber, which simply lays at the front of the bed of the pickup. I staggered the locations of the mounts to keep the handlebars of two bikes from getting in the way of one another...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

The constant pontificating gets a little tiresome. Ironically I see I was posting in the SL section, a bike which I don’t own. My mistake, apologies to all- carry on, please.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I’ll run mine where I please, and really don’t care about Stefan’s HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE rules or anyone else’s.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

The bar ends may look uneven in this picture; it’s just the angle of the camera. Sorry for upside-down tape measure. I like where I have the bar ends positioned, but I believe you will often see photos of the SQLabs inner bar ends positioned right next to the handlebar grips. They are...

    Why not Suggest Ride1Up e-bikes?

OlePhart, I hope when I am 82 years young- if I make it that far- I am still able to pedal around on a bicycle. It is truly a joy to do, and dollars spent does not always correlate in direct proportion the level of enjoyment. Keep doing what you’re doing!! 🙂

Better pack a lunch, too, OlePhart it’s gonna take awhile!!! 😂 (Sorry, Stefan…all in fun!)

Stromer ST1 chain keeps popping off

I don’t think the size of your chainring is the issue. You could try a chain-stay mounted chain guide to help keep the chain on your front ring.

    Shred chain falling off.

WolfTooth Components and a handful of other manufacturers make chain guides you might take a look at. One of the potential issues with them is they are typically designed to clamp around a ‘typical’ MTB seatpost, meaning basically a round pipe, which may not be conducive with some ebike...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

An old caboose in Ridgeway, WI. There is a nicely redone depot building there as well.

    Trek Powerfly 4 & 5

My 2020 PowerFly 5. I really like this thing for an e-MTB. My non electric MTB sees very little use any more.
