Full Suspension Vs. Seatpost Suspension...which is best?

That's good feedback. I actually replaced the stock handlebars with one an inch shorter and 2inches higher. I don't really notice the change, because before, I use to ride holding the bar with my fingers rather than resting on the base of my palms. Now, I hold the bar normally. I...

Full Suspension Vs. Seatpost Suspension...which is best?

Nah, the low back pain was pretty existing and it should properly be described as tightness. It's just uncomfortable to jar it around for an hour or two and I was hoping for a more 'plush' experience when I ride.

Full Suspension Vs. Seatpost Suspension...which is best?

That TV stuff is exactly what I don't do. I can see how amazing full suspension is for that application, but what about for gravel and marginally maintained backroads? How would the two suspension options stack up under those real world situations?

Full Suspension Vs. Seatpost Suspension...which is best?

I was hoping to get feedback on the experiences of y'all! If I bought the suspension seatpost, I can imagine it would be worlds better than my hardtail, but I still wouldn't really know how it compared to full suspension!

Full Suspension Vs. Seatpost Suspension...which is best?

Ok ladies and gentlemen, hoping to get a little feedback from people who've had their shapely butts on both a full suspension bike and a hardtail with a good (kinekt or Thudbuster) seatpost suspension. I've loved my first mountain bike. I bought a hardtail BH Atom X, not quite sure what my...

    Greta Thunberg day in NYC

I run my ac all day with my doors and windows open. I like feeling fresh and natural, yet institutionally dry air. I eschew solar panels as they would look ugly in my drought in-tolerant landscaping. Why deal with that eye sore. I leave all my lights on, all night, as it looks wonderful from...

Whos changed their disc brake pads? It's so hard!

Now that's another thing to consider....the pistons may never have been able to retract that far....I could be uselessly applying torquing and damaging pressure to them to get them to fully retract. I don't know what a reservoir bleed screw is and am afraid to start draining my brake fluid...

Whos changed their disc brake pads? It's so hard!

I'm trying the screwdriver thing now. One side went in easily. The other side, I'm applying about enough pressure to bend metal and it's gone in about 3/4 of the way....but the disc touches 100% of the time. Scared to push any harder on that piston.

Whos changed their disc brake pads? It's so hard!

How do you break in brakes? Sounds like you did it and got about the same life as me. 🙁

Whos changed their disc brake pads? It's so hard!

Whos changed their disc brake pads? It's so hard!

I've got about 600 very hilly miles on my 4 month old BH EMTB. My rear shimano brake just started sounding like I was killing a moose. I removed the back tire and found the left side rear brake pad worn completely down to the metal and the right side with about 33% of the pad left. I went on...

BH Atom X Pro RC Review

That disgusts me. You weigh 165lbs. You climb a 6% grade hill for a mile and use 15% of your battery?.....on level 2 of 4 assist??? Extrapolating, that would mean you could climb for about 4 miles before exhausting the charge? That's so sad and disappointing. How come those types of stats...

Help my EMTB go faster - tech says it can't :(

In reviewing my BH warranty info, I saw that they have regular tune up intervals that they require to keep coverage. Theres a sign off section in the warranty manual for the dealer to stamp and date his service. I took my bike in to an authorized dealer for the tune up, which was $60 and they...

BH Atom X Pro RC Review

I agree that lower assist will get me farther and that's how I frequently ride. But in testing this new ebike, I'm disappointed that on a 9% grade with a 200lb rider on the highest assist, this bike only goes 6 miles. That is how this bike performs under 'demanding' conditions. When they...

    Lightweight, compact Backup (2nd) Lock

Hi guys. I'm using a foldylocks Compact folding lock as my primary lock. It's super convenient as it folds down really small and anchors to the water bottle cage holder It feels sturdy but doesnt weigh a ton and is flexible where I can lock it in a bunch of different situations. I realize...

Getting more climbing power out of a Brose motor?

I love the brose S motor on my BH emtb for exercise and mountain biking. The torque sensor makes me work hard while helping me tackle hills I never could alone. I've been toying with using my ebike as a weekday commuter as well. The problem is that there's a 2 mile hill on the way to work...

    Tubeless ready ST5 - Yes!

Let's not forget people, that sealant only lasts for 5 or 6 months I side your tires. After that, it's pretty much useless. You'll need to top it off with another heavy gob twice a year or you'll be SOL with your next flat.

What Potential Anti-Ebike Law Do You Fear Most?

I'm sad we don't get clean vehicle rebates, but I havent kept up on what potentially our government could do to make riding our ebikes more difficult. Please enlighten me!

Who's ebike riding could ALL be done on a regular bike?

Awesome story! I've become so reliant on the easy speed and acceleration of my ebike and the psychological domination I have over hills. I've got a phobia of going back to my analog bike. Does returning to the Bianchi require a mental reset? How do you feel when you look at an upcoming hill...
