    Lovin’ my new Allant+ 7s

"Yes, ride and enjoy!" That’s for sure. Whatever bike fits size, budget, preference, it’s all good as long as it gets us out and riding. My store had a medium 7 and a large 8s. The large felt better but the Allant 7 looked like a great bike too. I live in a hilly area that I’m sure happy to be...

    New Allant 8s yesterday

I updated the hub and now the compass doesn’t work at all and the mileage doesn’t work. I’m hoping it’s because I didn’t reboot it. I did the update and put it on my bike and took off. I set up the Strava app and it uploaded the mileage to it so I’m hoping a reboot will cure it.

    New Allant 8s yesterday

Week 1 - 109 miles. Started light with a couple of 12 - 15 mile rides and have gotten up to 24 miles. Still getting my riding legs under me but I’m getting there. So far it still thrills me just getting it out.

    New Allant 8s yesterday

This is AWESOME! Set the navigation for the quiet route to get to the park. Took me through a hilly neighborhood that I wouldn’t have done on a regular bike. But this baby tackled it without a problem. I mean it was doable on a regular bike but there was definitely a flatter route to take but...

    Hello from Nashville, Tn. USA.

Thanks for the update. I will have to get over there for a ride. Looks like a wet week is in the forecast. Hope to get rides in between raindrops.

    New Allant 8s yesterday

Using the COBI.Bike app in navigation mode I notice the compass is off north after a while. At first it’s on north starting at home where I know north. Then riding around a bit I notice it’s pointing more east as the north heading. I’m using an iPhone 7 and I’m in my neighborhood so I know where...

    Hello from Nashville, Tn. USA.

Yes, the Harpeth River Greenway. I ride that out to the golf course and back and do both Edwin & Percy Warner Parks. I guess what I like about that is the seclusion from cars. About 26 miles of no cars, park like riding. Being in Sylvan Park here on the west side I’ve only ridden Shelby Bottoms...

    New Allant 8s yesterday

Awesome! I’ve got to get more accessories for my bike. In need of pouches to carry spare tube and tools. If a flat happens I’m at the mercy of calling my wife to come get me. You’ve got the battery extender. Cool!

    Hello from Nashville, Tn. USA.

Fortunately my neighborhood has a lot of side streets in a grid setting that makes for good short rides to start with. Have to build up to get out to Percy Warner Park and tackle the hills. That’s my favorite biking area.

    New Allant 8s yesterday

Got a new bike yesterday and am very impressed. I’ve taken a lot of time off so I’m taking it slow to get back into riding shape. I rode an hr when I got it home yesterday and took it on 2 rides today of an hr each. The bike store had a medium Allant 7 and a large 8s and I’m 5’9" which is right...

    Hello from Nashville, Tn. USA.

Hello from Nashville. My name is Mike and I’m a new e-bike owner. Just got a Trek Allant +8s yesterday and am loving it so far. I’m 63 years old and had been riding a Bianchi Brava road bike for about 25 years. The past couple of years I haven’t been riding due to some physical ailments and...
