Our Rides in Words, Photos & Videos

Rode yesterday with unseasonably cool weather for Nashville, Tn standards. Low 80’s and humidity about 35%. Was shooting for 40 miles but came up a little short. Not complaining though as it was a great day for riding. Finished with 50% battery left.

    Bought an Allant 8s today

It has been a great investment. I know I’m enjoying mine. Glad to see it’s working out for you too. 15 lbs. in a month sounds great.

Our Rides in Words, Photos & Videos

This is my favorite route and have rode it 4 times in the past 2 weeks. I go counter clockwise on the map riding from my house to our neighborhood greenway that gets me over the creek without having to go out to the major artery road. From there I’ve found a new route thanks to the COBI.Bike...

    Bought an Allant 8s today

I know those biker shorts aren’t for everyone but the padding in them upgrades any seat. I wear mine under my baggy cargo shorts to save the community the sight of me in tights. 😜

Send us pics of your ebike... loaded with groceries!

I’ve been shopping for a good lock and panniers but I haven’t bought anything yet because I don’t trust leaving my bike anywhere. Even locked up I don’t trust leaving it somewhere. I keep my bike in the garage and I should have it locked up out there. But I’ve had my other bike out there for...

Looks like a great ride. I still have range anxiety and would have been worrying about running out of juice.

Saw this sunset as I was just about home from my ride today. My longest ride since I bought the bike 2 weeks ago. 34 miles and I felt real good. Having these big tires and sturdy frame just makes this ride like a Cadillac. Still had 31% juice left in the battery. And that was with climbing some...

Sunset at the end of ride

Ok. Being new here I didn’t know if I broke protocol or something. Thanks.

Sunset at the end of ride

Thanks. The body of the post is about a new Trek bike and my satisfaction with it. Isn’t that pertinent to the brand?

    Trek ebike Customer Experience

Agree with everything you’ve said about no documentation. Noticing what you said about living in the city, have you tried the navigation on the Cobi.bike app? Picking a destination and choosing quiet route will give some pretty good alternate ways to go. A little out of the way but we’ve got a...

    Best Phone Holder

I’ve used Rammount for years on my old bike and never had a phone fall out. They make a good product. They’re customer service is great too.

    Which is the better lock?

I looked at locks yesterday and decided I didn’t trust them enough to protect my bike. I’d like to use my bike to run errands but I never did with my old bike and it cost a lot less then my new ebike.

    Hello from Minnetonka!

Welcome! I bought my bike on a Thursday afternoon and things were slow but they told me to come back and they’d get it ready for me. So I hit the grocery store for a bit and came back.

"Significant Motor Resistance While Pedalling With Motor Off" Myth Busted: Physical Proof

I turn mine off as much as I can. Going down hill and on flat terrain. Something else that reduces drag is down shifting. Mine has ten gears and third, forth, and fifth are all peddleable without juice from the battery. If I can’t keep the cadence up around 50 - 60 rpm then I look for help from...
