These sorts of chainguards work a lot better when you have a fixed chain (e.g., a hub), not a derailleur. I'm not sure how they work with a derailleur.

But honestly why would you want 2.5kW over 1kW? I mean, we use 250-350W motors that are just fine for like 99% of uses apart from really niche ones.

Depending on your budget, you might want to consider a custom-built battery. Plenty of companies make custom-made ebike batteries; you can send them your bike schematics and requirements and they will give you options regarding batteries, BMS, charger and other things.
