Hey @J Miller. I have to say that I am really glad I went with the CA. I really like the features, information and the controls it provides. I am running an old PC so when I tried to use the Windows interface my mouse goes all skippy and I really can’t use it at all. That aside, after working...

First really long ride of the season!

That is good to know. I am trying to find a local dealer who has one in stock so I can bring the bike by and avoid shipping things back-and-forth if I cannot make it work.

First really long ride of the season!

That’s great to hear @mrgold35 I am leaning toward that BodyFloat seatpost if I can get it to work with the weird rearward angle of my seatpost on this bike.

Thank you Ann. I will investigate! :-)

First really long ride of the season!

How do you like that body float? Do you think that it is worth the pricey price? With no rear suspension on this bike it is going to be really tough to ride on anything but very nicely manicured roads.

First really long ride of the season!

Hey Mark, maybe on a full suspension bike I could approach all that and with a circular route it would be more fun. I love to ride, but after 4 or 5 hours I get enough of it.

First really long ride of the season!

@PowerMe i hear ya. This is the second day after my ride and I’m still feeling it. The forward pedal position on this bike doesn’t allow you to rise off the seat to soften the impacts so I’m going to have to do something for rough terrain. I have been looking at the BodyFloat but I’m not sure...

First really long ride of the season!

Hey Dave. How many hours did that take? That’s an amazing distance! I don’t know if I’d be interested in traveling that far on a bike. Perhaps if we had a circular route near me. On my favorite trail the only choice is to go back the way I came and seeing the route over again can get kind of...

Less than full PSI on tires?

I usually run the tires a little over 20 PSI on my Yukon Fatbike. I usually ride on pavement and the ride is fairly spongy and comfortable. I weigh around 230 or so. I love the wide variability in the tire pressure.

First really long ride of the season!

Hey @harryS. Thanks. Last year I did a 34 mile ride on the same trail with my Voltbike Yukon. The chopper is pretty but she’s a hardtail and in need of a suspension seatpost, which I learned yesterday. I’ve done that ride several times on the fatbike and the ride is cushy compared with...

First really long ride of the season!

I am riding with 2 10 AH batteries. When I ride conservatively, I can get a MAXIMUM of 4 miles to the AH. The rest is simple math.

That’s a really long ride my friend. Your bike is looking sharp as well. That red is very fiery!

First really long ride of the season!

23 miles today. Hilly public roads with traffic on the way to the North County Trail. Lunch in Yorktown where the trail runs right through the center of town and finally on to the Croton Reservoir Bridge where I took a break and some pics and turned around. Some observations: the bike gets a...

First really long ride of the season!

Tomorrow, should the weather hold up. With an 80 mile max range it will be interesting to see how far I actually travel.
