No customer service response from biktrix about delays and shipping method

@roshan is a highly regarded member of this forum, as are Biktrix bikes. But sadly it seems like you have worked yourself into such a frenzy that you will never be happy with your new Biktrix bike, regardless of how perfect it may be or when you receive it.:( While I don't see anywhere that...

Why am I looking at ebikes again?

That sounds exactly how I play the marriage game! Fortunately I have a wife who understands my 'issues', so the marriage has lasted 35 years so far. :)

SONDORS is releasing it's first mid-drive EBikes.

Those new bikes look like a really big step forward for Sondors. I like the yellow one.

    New ebiker

Welcome! Nice bike, and yes, it will be even nicer with the de-limiter. Now get a bicycle computer so you will know your real speed and distance when riding. I like the GPS based ones (Garmin Edge 130 is really simple yet functional), but I guess that one with the sensor on the front wheel...

Do you guys bring the battery in during those hot summer days?

Generally speaking, where you are comfortable, your battery will also be comfortable. If where your battery is located is either too hot or too cold for you to be comfortable, the temperatures will be degrading its chemistry. The more extreme the temperatures, the faster the degradation.

    Haibike 2020 models

2020 models have already shown up on the HaibikeUSA web site, with a banner on the front page specifying so. Doesn't look like the flyon equipped models are coming to the U.S., at least not yet.

Took the plunge - e bike adventures

Welcome! That particular Haibike is really a dream bike to me - one which I look at over and over again, but just can't justify the 'need' for it where I live (and with the e-bikes we already have). I certainly do hate that word 'need', and do my best to ignore it in purchase decisions...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

I believe that with the more powerful motor of the AMP compared to the Gain, you won't feel the weight of the aluminum framed bike when riding (placing into a truck bed, onto a bike rack or carrying it up stairs may be another story though). I am surprised today when any manufacturer installs...

Why am I looking at ebikes again?

Guilty! I also sold our 10 year old Pedegos earlier this year - We just weren't riding them in the last few years. Probably lasted less than a week before new e-bike purchases were planned. New e-bike technology is incredible compared to the old! We've got Vespas as well, and they serve a...

BH just pulled out of US market ?

Bulls bikes is German based, and have shown no efforts to pull out of the US market. Totally different company than BH bikes, which this thread is discussing. BH is based out of Spain.

Juiced warranty claim on ripcurrent. Still like my juiced bike!

I don't know. Pedals which come on almost any bike are generally cheap junk. Even many of the EBR reviews even acknowledge the low quality of OEM provided pedals which come with e-bikes, and make a comment like "not very good quality but will get you started and you can replace them with...

Any love for the Bontrager headlights?

What is your intended use? Be seen during daylight or dusk? Or will you be riding at night and need to see the road well as well as be seen? We don't ride regularly at night, and we have the Ion 100 set on several of our bikes. We like these a lot. Are quite bright enough to be seen well...

Beat up cyclists need ebike guidance

If you are still comfortable in the more aggressive riding position of a road bike, there is no other bike type which is as efficient on pavement. And an e-assist road bike will put the fun back into riding one. Of course a bike like the Giant Fastroad E - EXPRO will have more utility and a...

Buying used Rad bike. would you?

Depending on how much you want to work to source and potentially have to fit a non-OEM battery, and your lack of knowledge about the bike's history (was owner having other problems not related to the bad battery?), it seems like you have answered your own question. Having an extra bike, just to...

    What mirror do you use?

When I got back into riding earlier this year (sold our 10 year old Pedegos and bought some newer e-bikes), I went down on my first hard ride during a 'momentary lapse of concentration' while looking over my shoulder before making a left turn. Things happen fast at 20+mph! Right then, in a...

Beat up cyclists need ebike guidance

What are you currently riding (drop bar road bike, commuter with flat bars, MTB, etc.)? Are you looking to continue getting the efficiency of a thinner tire road bike, or are you also (beyond the electric assist for the hills) looking for a less aggressive riding position? Where do you want to...

Hola from Old Mexico with a Simple Question

And... Ice chests are an inexpensive possible solution to extra bike battery storage in a hot environment. Not that you need to put ice in them, but leaving them closed up they will at least moderate the internal temperature swings through their insulation.

Hola from Old Mexico with a Simple Question

Welcome Gary, There are 2 diverse solutions (which I am aware of - others may have more knowledge or experience) to your question. One is easy and relatively inexpensive, the other is 'green' but likely more expensive and complicated. Folks do use solar energy to recharge their e-bikes, but...

Pulled the trigger on a Scorpion today

If I had known I could get color-matched fenders on the HyperScorpion, I would have waited... Not! Interesting find though @Ericcson006 . With the 'brand new motor design' in the Hyper, while I'm not anticipating any significant issues or problems, it is certainly comforting to be only a few...
