    E-Bike Insurance

I’m going to assume Zeeker doesn’t keeps clients long as he calls potential ones “stupid” and then doesn’t really know all the ins outs of insurance himself being as he says he is an agent? Doesn’t look good on paper - and I just insured another bike with Markel, too.

    Lectric Folding e-Trike

My wife's trike arrived yesterday. Opened it up, and both rear fenders were bent, twisted. One was so bad there was no way the tire would turn Odd, as there was no damage to the box. Also, the left parking brake did not operate properly. Contacted Lectric and they are sending new fenders...

    E-Bike Insurance

Maybe the insurance you sell does, but mine specifically stated they do not. Ergo, using Velosurance. Not arguing the point, just stating my specific case.

    E-Bike Insurance

Actually, when researching this, and talking with my insurance carrier they do not insure E-bikes for the simple reason that it has a motor. I would suggest, that if you check with your carrier, on home insurance, they do not cover E-bikes either for the same reason. My carrier is USAA for...

    Lectric Folding e-Trike

My wife has one on order and should be arriving shortly. Very curious as to how this will work for her now that we are living in town with access to psthes and bike routes.

    E-Bike Insurance

Sorry for late reply. In the end, went with Velosurance. Pretty much all e-bike insurance is underwritten by Markel. Ended up around $200 a year premium.

    Bosch Purion Display Controls

Thx for the response back with the “how to”.

    Bosch Purion Display Controls

I'm curious if this is possible: can the Purion display (on a Trek Verve +3) be reprogramed to allow the "walk mode" and headlight on / off feature to operate? I have not seen anything that defines how to do this, and seemingly, this feature is not available (from the dealer) in North America...

Abus Granit Xplus 540 U-lock experiences?

Alpha - seems the folding locks, while very convenient, don’t fair well in tests. This includes the biggest one from Abus. The cafe lock and cable is a good item for quick I and outs, but be it beyond that. Depending on who you talk to, what you watch, and what you read, each group seems to have...

    E-Bike Insurance

After researching through my homeowners and auto policies (USAA), neither of them cover E-bikes. Checked with my motorhome insurer and neither do they. Seems the issue is that E-bikes are a motorized vehicle and fall under a unique category. So, spent yesterday afternoon looking through...

Abus Granit Xplus 540 U-lock experiences?

I also purchased an Abus 540 X-Plus lock to use with my traveling items of 1 chain lock, 2 Kryptonite Silver locks and two cables. If someone wants my bike the bad, o be it.

    Disappointment with Allant 7

Interesting enough, I just purchased a Verve +3 step thru a few weeks ago. I have ro say, I am very impressed and pleased with over all performance of the bike. I'm older, 6' and shrinking, 270 pounds and the bike just moves along so much better than I ever expected. Matter of fact, it...

    Tannus Inserts

I just had Tennis inserts installed in my front and rear tires on my e-bike. I really have to admit that there is quite a bit of difference in the standard tire ride and the Tanks insert ride, Surprisingly, the overall ride is smoother and not getting jostled about a much with just the basic...

    Kryptonite ATPO

I just purchased a new Kryptonite chain lock for my new E bike, and while filling out the key registration, up popped this Anti-Theft Protection Offer, which i had thought was a good offering from them (I had this with a prior set of locks purchased in 2015, and it was free). Now, Kryptonite...

    Gazelle vs Trek Verve+ 3

Dont know if you two made your purchase yet, but I was in the same boat, looking for an E-Bike. I narrowed it down to the Gazelle and Trek Verve +3. Gazeeles are pretty rare in the C7 / C8 category at our LBS in Bend, Or. The Trek is pretty hard to find, too. Ultimately, I test rode a Verve+3...

Abus Granit Xplus 540 U-lock experiences?

Well .... just to add to the brush fire here, after purchasing an E-Bike to replace my 29'er, I decided to upgrade on my Krytonite U lock. After many hours of reading, watching YouTube, and anything else I could find, it came down to two locks: the Kryptonite LS M-18 and the Abus Granit 540...

    2 bike Step-thru cover

Interesting….I’d be real curious as to how it will hold up to the windstorm behind the motorhome. Thx for replying back on your decision.

    2 bike Step-thru cover

This seems to be a standing question. We are in the exact same situation. I’ve looked online at several listings: Pro Bike, Skinz, Formosa, etc, and while the price is right (in most cases) the quality and durability seems to be hit and miss based on reviews. I have run across one product...

Aventon Aventure Charger!! ---This is Madness!!

Interesting scenario here, and seems to be a common issue nd problem with Aventon - zero customer support. I was really thinking about the Adventure, but after reading all the problems and no support, went with Trek. Hope you can get this problem resolved. and you wold think they could get you...

    E-Bike Insurance

Guess I am going to have to look into this deeper than I thought, and really consider the liability and medical coverages. Who would have ever thought you’d have to go through all this to ride a bike?
