    CCX Cracked Front Fender

I have 2 RCS and have replaced the fenders on both bikes. The fender has a black coating on it. It can crack. If you travel with a bike rack it can be subject to whatever speeds you drive at. I see my fenders shake in the air flow as I drive. Other than that I trail ride my RCS bikes and have no...

Local Bike Shops and upgrade or repairs to Internet purchased EBikes

90-95% of EBike share the same components as non EBikes. Drivetrain, Shifters, Brakes and suspension, etc... I have had the chance to meet the Velofix guy in my area a month ago. They are in most cases less equipped to work on EBikes than the LBS. They do basic maintenance and assembly. They do...

Local Bike Shops and upgrade or repairs to Internet purchased EBikes

I wanted to share an issue I have been having since owning a Juiced Ripcurrent S and Luna X1. I have been refused service at two local bike shops when trying to upgrade components or repair issues related to bikes they either don't sell or service. The refusals have been for Drivetrain, tubeless...

9 Speed Shifter on newer RCS

I wanted to point out for those with Juiced bikes and 9 speed shifters. I have an older RCS which came with SHIMANO Altus SL-M2010-9R 9-Speed Right Rapidfire Plus Shifter. The latest RCS comes with a shifter MARVO LT and is not easy to read what gear you're in with only the orange indicator and...

Ripcurrent S - can the shocks be upgraded?

The 203mm rotor will feel more progressive so don't be shy about squeezing the brake lever hard when emergency stopping. Clean the rotors with rubbing alcohol. Remember to bed in the rotors and pads. I spray some water on the pads then rub them together before installing them. I bed the pads by...

Kenda Krusade VS Innova Love Tire on a Juiced Ripcurrent S step thru

Question how are you going to use the bike? road mostly? Depending on how you use the bike you will pick the tires to best suit your riding needs. I have for trail riding Maxxis Minions but for road riding I have Vee Rubber Mission Command Fat Tires which are super quiet but are also good for...

    Tektro 203mm Brake Upgrade

My current setup: On My RCS I am using 203mm rotors on the front and rear with Tektro 4 piston on the front and the stock star union caliper on the rear. The larger rotors allows for better brake modulation. The NEW RCS Step Thru (wifes bike) has 203mm rotor up front with the stock caliper. Rear...

Ripcurrent S - can the shocks be upgraded?

I didn't go into my own cone rebuild problems. The stock bearings are not well suited for getting wet. I had them rebuilt once then decided to find a better sealed bearing setup. I have one stock RCS front wheel with the Novatec 36h hub and one custom built Sun Ringle Mulefüt 80SL 36 hole rim...

Ripcurrent S - can the shocks be upgraded?

I have taken my RCS on many trails throughout Florida. No big downhill stuff in Florida. I have rode on many trails with rocks, roots and drops with the ZTZ shocks and they still hold up. I set my shock air pressure to 120psi. People think it's crazy to see a fat tire bike out on black diamond...

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

One tip from the conversion experience. The Stans 32mm schrader valve is good but the the locking nut that comes with it is not. I purchased another schrader valve set with O-Ring and nut to provide better sealing against the rim. The Stans rubber is volcanized to the valve stem and the rubber...

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

Just finished my tubeless setup on the front of the RCS Step Thru. Last week I had the hub replaced with a Novatec 135mm and today the wheel was converted to tubeless. The rim was taped and tubeless valve installed. 8 oz of Orange sealant and the tire is seated on the rim. Wheel is much lighter...

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

Tubeless is the best choice if you get a puncture. The sealant stops the air from leaking out. Bolton did a really good youtube video on which puncture protection choices worked the best. None of the solutions stopped the tire from going flat but some did better than others. They did another...

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

Started to convert the RCS Step Thru wheels to tubeless. I taped the rims and got ready to inflate the Vee Tire Co. Mission Command Fat tire but could not seat the tire. Took the wheels and Vee Tire Co. Mission Command Fat tires to two Bike shops and neither could not get enough air in the tire...

    RCS Throttle Error 4

I have just put together a new RCS Step Thru. When pushing on the thumb throttle I loose power and error 4 is displayed on the controller. I rechecked the connector and all is tight. I opened a ticket with Juiced and they shipped me a new throttle. The 2nd thumb throttle also throws an error 4...

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

I have Juiced which is torque and cadence sensor then the Aventon which is cadence also a mid drive bike with torque sensor. Both rear and mid drive torque sensor bikes are very similar in the way they deliver assistance. I would explain it as more assistance and less pushing when pedaling using...

Juiced Bikes support seriously lacking, 10 days and all I get is an auto respond.

I just assembled the RCS Step Thru and the thumb throttle was causing Error 4 which is a bad throttle. Opened an email support with Juiced and within a hour I got a response. Not sure when the replacement part will arrive.

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

The Juiced Step Thru came a couple days ago and I now have it assembled. The RCS Step Thru and the Aventon Aventure Step Through allows my wife to ride without worry of the top tube. The design of the Aventure is cleaner than the RCS. The lack of torque sensor on the Aventure is the only reason...
