I dropped the wheel, loosend the fender, shaved the Topeak bracket, installed, now centered as should be... a lot of work for a fussy old man like me.

The curvature of the fender inhibits the mount at other locations.

But...what will the new model have that will generate the regret....or will it be the same old, same old?

The mounting provisions are limited....this is the only way it fits. Can you elaborate on your comment, not sure what you mean. Thanks.

Wanted to try this, works, only issue is/was that I cannot push it further back for ascetics due to curvature of fender interfering with mounting bracket for plate. Otherwise, pretty neat.
