    Question on 'dropped chain'?

I guess that I just have to make sure that I swap out the chain (when needed) BEFORE I have my Tequila :)

    Question on 'dropped chain'?

I remember a while ago, last year on the other Vado, I had counted links, taken pictures, was it 124, 126, 128, not remembering the exact #, but does anybody have the knowledge as to the exact number of links per chain, per bike, per drivetrain? Does the LBS, manufacturer, anyone know the...

    Question on 'dropped chain'?

My most recent chain I replaced at 2200 mi. or so (I'd need to be sure that was the mileage I had when I changed i) I used a KMC chain. I use HotWax ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KXQS6YI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and try clean it (the chain) every week or 2 and...

OMNI QUICKTRACK ADAPTER & MTX TRUNKBAG EX ON A 2022 VADO or COMO?

I did a similar thing with the KlikFix adapter, using a piece of thin plastic outside the bottom of the bag. I'll try it on the inside to see if it is any better. Thanks for your input.

OMNI QUICKTRACK ADAPTER & MTX TRUNKBAG EX ON A 2022 VADO or COMO?

I'm tired of the floppy bags that won't stay straight and firm and look sloppy. I've purchased mounting racks from various companies (Racktime for the 2021 model) and the UniKlip from Klikfix (which works with the 2022 model Vado/Como). However, once the bag is mounted on the adapter, it gets...

Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH - The Nightmare Continues

Interesting that today Specialized reduced the price on the IGH models by $501....(others are also on sale)....must be a sign that they are clearing them out. We shall see.

Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH - The Nightmare Continues

As I as well as others have stated in these forums....search the discussions, and get up to speed. If you bought one, take it back. Fight for your right.

Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH - The Nightmare Continues

HA! I just looked at the title of this post and thought I'd just add that anyone who considers getting an IGH should really consider doing their homework. Specialized "fired" me because of my postings, issues, fights, verbal disagreements, credit card disputes, and more (all documented in these...

    Specialized releases Turbo Tero X

Well, it really all depends on the people who are working the shift. Initially, the 1st guy who started the process for the update, seemed a bit bewildered as to how to proceed once he plugged in the USB to the display. Thankfully another more skilled employee took over the reigns and...

    Specialized releases Turbo Tero X

I’m in Florida on vacation for a few weeks riding my locally acquired Vado 4.0 and stopped into the local bike shop (Conte’s) to get a firmware update, saw a new Tero X 6.0 on the floor that was sold….. nice bike. I’d most likely want to ride one before I consider it to replace my 2022 Vado 5.0...

Vado 5.0 IGH versus Tero 5.0 (EQ pack)

We are the guinea pigs, the beta testers. We should be honored by Specialized for reporting and testing all their new stuff. We are the defacto source of reality. Specialized is just marketing their warez. We actually buy them, try them, love them, or hate them. Search, and read, you will...

    Firmware update for charging limit

Range extender only for SL, etc., not Vado. I went that route (extra battery) with a previous Vado, carrying an extra battery (what a bear, + 10 lbs.), etc. Heavy, awkward, and may be used it one time in 1 year. In time, hopefully, just a little more range might be a good thing down the road...

    Firmware update for charging limit

My only concern about this (if it is applicable to my 2022 Vado 5.0 and if so, if I choose to do it) is that I base almost all of my rides on the maximum distance that I can achieve with reserve to come back with enough power. Meaning I always plug in every day, and I always get 100%. If I...

Thanks, I'll ask the LBS...but if not mistaken, I think they already said no, but it was some time ago, I'll have to ask again. Maybe Stefan knows...

Tannus Armour Insert Tubeless on OEM Vado 5.0 rims?

Can these be used on the factory-supplied, OEM rims that are the stock rims on 2022 Vado and Como e-bikes? (I guess what I am asking is if they can be made "tubeless" or do new tubeless capable rims need to be purchased). See...

    The e-bike under exercising myth.

I sometimes find it weird or whacked that weirdos have to make decisions on how I (or you) perform whatever we choose to do to stay fit, exercise, or just plain move and not become a bookend. Everyone is entitled to express their opinion...after all...that's what a "community" forum is for...
