e-bike battery prices are not coming down

During the month of Feb and March, China was under lockdown so there was little business happening. Alibaba was having a promotion of 10 percent off any purchase during March but now they're up and running that discount is gone.

Since I'm mainly on pavement I went for Schwalbe Marathon Plus HS 468 flatless puncture resistant. They are less aggressive pattern, super quiet and long tread life. Go to their site, this is a new learning curve. I also changed out the hand grips. There is so much available to make your ride unique

I've had my R500 since Jan, lots of fun adjusting to an ebike. This model will tackle city life with ease and is a competent ride. I did find the original tires noisy and slow, changed out a few bits and made it to suit my needs. You won't be disappointed.

Newbie-Advice on Fat Tire, Full suspension All Terrain bikes!

I too did a fair amount of research and decided on M2S. They've managed a decent level of components across the board and varied lineup of models to suit most entry level buyers. Priced right with little inventory makes buying a challenge. This is my first buy and certainly not my last.

I'm looking at Pinhead Locks. They offer various sized thread widths, 1mm, 1.5mm or 1.75mm.

What is the mm width of the front axle ?

I want to install locks to the front axle and remove the quick release. I read somewhere its 100 mm but unsure and I don't have a way to measure it. Anyone know the size on the front wheel ?

I'm looking for ideas for my cockpit. Having a new toy I will need a decent mirror and horn. Some of our local drivers are nasty. With all this down time we're all getting antsy waiting to for a ride and still nippy here in Montreal, about 50 f average.

    Bummed out on this quarantine

I recently returned from my winter vacation with my new ride. Driven about 150 miles in sunny Florida and the bomb dropped. I had to disassemble my bike so I can pack and fit it in the Thule box. Will rebuild and wait until mid April for the weather to warm up. I also ordered an extra battery...

    Spare battery costs

I recently purchased the M2S Sport R500 Commuter. It has the integrated hidden 48v 14ah bat into the frame which now so common. A one size only with no room on the frame to add it. I decided to purchase another same battery. I can carry it in my panier for extended rides. I contacted the...

    M2S R750 Sport Tire Choice

I too was thinking of the step thru. I gave some real long thoughts of getting on and off quickly and easily. Would it be secure, would I fall out if it tipped. I'm not a smaller size. Think of what your needs are. If you live in the burbs with access to off road then maybe this is the right...

    Tire Choice: 27.5", 2.6-3.0 width, For Pavement & Off-road?

Just received a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Plus 27.5 (650b) x 2.25 with highest puncture protection 7 and Smartguard. I tried to look for a 2.8 wide but with limited availability. I wanted more durable and level 7. Since I drive mainly on pavement and not gravel I opted for something in the middle.

Purchased 2nd battery for my Sport R500 commuter

I purchased a second battery. It's the exact one to my sport R500 commuter. It's called a Reention EEL integrated battery. I checked everywhere and found it only by Alibaba. After speaking with a sales rep they confirmed this is the same battery as on my bike, a 48v 14ah with Samsung cells. They...

In love with my new Schwalbe Marathon tires

Original Kenda Slant 3 "wides were fat, slow and noisy. Ordered a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Plus HS 468 SmartGuard MTB tires. These are lighter, faster, noiseless and almost puncture proof. Fill them up to 60 psi and I glide on water. A pleasurable ride worthy of ownership.

Plasti dip / painting your frame

I have added to my scratched areas clear Gorilla tape. I cleaned the area first with alcohol, dried and applied the tape. It's thick and works. I can still see my bikes graphic artwork.
